that glitch is why i only played that game online for about a week  Roll Eyes

i thought the game would have been fun if it didn't have a few problems that broke it. the glitch, the online system, etc.... kept it from being a pretty good game.


and **** wii speak. O-rings got me for more money w/ that p.o.s. conference call shitbox

HVS just confirmed that the Grinder will be an FPS game exclusively for the Wii while the PS3, 360, and PC will be getting it, but it will be a 3rd Person shooter.

As for The Conduit 2 I will get it bootleg and let ya guys know if it's any good lol. I wasted 50 bucks on the first game and I am very hesitant as well about the second game. I even bought Wii Speak for it! That's like 80 dollars down the drain!

i can already see the grinder being a Gears rip off :/ so im not really celebrating the fact its FPS on the Wii, I woulda liked to try a 3PS shooter type thing.

its just the name..

Well I will buy it and let you guys know.

Honestly I don't know why TC got so much crap as a game.  Once you were in-game, the game play was a blast.  The only problems, while major defects, were easily fixed administrative issues.

It took forever to connect and authenticate (and random matchmaking is lame anyway).  The spawn glitch was a disaster that rendered the game nearly unplayable, but easily fixed in the next one.  And the mandatory weapons classes voted on was a disaster as well (explosives everytime, really?).

All of these issues are easy fixes.  Fix those, and TC would have been a huge success.  So I will take a chance on TC2.

Especially because of splitscreen 4 player.  I have been waiting for that (I skipped QoS because no one else was buying it, but TC2 will sell enough to make it worth while) and no splitscreen has been my biggest complaint about the other shooters so far.

I agree Ohio. All these issues that Conduit had like the spawn glitch can be fixed for the sequel. They might also wanna add a lobby system lol. I mean I don't think it's that hard to freakin' make a lobby system right? I really don't care if the sequel doesn't support Wii Speak at all so that will free up some bandwidth right there. Maybe we can get 12 players online now like COD?

Also 4 player splitscreen is great because now I can finally play with my friends and family! All this time i've been mostly playing online while the other 3 of my wii remotes are collecting dust!

like others i'll see how it goes first.

also on tcon they had weapon caches for unlimited nades and ammo... no, just no... thats a joke. I remember there always had to be one side that would camp near where they spawn with unlimited everything. also the lock on... eh no thnx. as much as I loved using it for some things such as getting pistol kills across maps n stuff it kinda messes everythin up. I hope they keep the thing where you push the button and you can see where the person is and it tells you the distance, but i hope they take part where it locks your aim.

March 31, 2010 - First revealed in Nintendo Power, Conduit 2 will be released this Fall exclusively for the Nintendo Wii. Along with a standard single-player and multiplayer online modes, Conduit 2 will also include online and offline cooperative play.

One of these new co-op modes, titled Team Invasion Mode, allows up to four players to play online together or offline on four-way split screen. The game allows up to 12 players to battle online and includes Wii Speak compatibility.

"Conduit 2 is an enormous sequel. Not only does it greatly improve and expand on the original, the online and co-op play modes aim to raise the bar for Wii war games," said Sean Ratcliffe, Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America.

"The support for the original has been amazing." said Eric Nofsinger, HVS Chief Creative Officer. "The fans have always been a major factor in our development process and their continued enthusiasm has helped make Conduit 2 even better."

"The Conduit was the first of many original IP's being developed by our studio." said Kerry J. Ganofsky, CEO and founder of High Voltage Software. "That's why it gives me great pleasure to announce a sequel with a thrilling and exciting online experience."

The first Conduit title sold modestly, shipping 150,000 units worldwide during its launch week. Ganofsky told IGN in February the game has gone on to sell over 350,000 copies since then.

High Voltage Software is also working on another title, The Grinder, a multiplatform game due out late next year. The Grinder was originally a Wii exclusive title before it was revealed it would also be coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.


This is 4 player offline and can possibly be co-op mode or just regular vs. mode!

I have to admit after finding out about Co-op mode being offline AND online, 12 player online, and the fact Team Invasion is just one of a few more co-op mode types of online or offline games I am getting a serious hard-on for Conduit 2.

The split screen is a plus, but on the top of the priority list should have been a public announcement that they addressed the spawn glitch issue, as well as improving their retarded voting lobby system. I definately won't get it if I can't pick and choose the weapons I am comfortable with.

Well let's cross our fingers that they did fix that crap in the sequel. They listen to their customers so maybe we should e-mail them these concerns. The game is out this fall so they have plenty of time to fix that.
