This is a thread meant for sharing the fond memories we had during our time spent on Medal of Honor: Heroes 2.  This game holds special meaning to all of us.  For most of us, this is our most played game ever, having maxed out the time spent online limit of 999 hours.  That shows you how many players enjoyed MoH.  How many people can say they spent more than 41 days on any other game?  I know I can't.

Feel free to post anything you want to share about MoH.  You can acknowledge specific players for being good or fun to play with, games you've played that were like none other, the friends you've made during you're time on MoH, or anything else that you'd like to share.

You can also share stories about MoH that happened off the servers, as well.  I encourage you to post about your journey to MoH communities, such as Wii Unite, or to groups of players that made up clans.  These memories, for most of us, are our fondest of the game.

Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 is a game filled with great memories, but like everything else, it also has some bad ones.  You can post these but please try to keep it at least somewhat civil.  It would be a shame if this thread reached 30 pages of arguing, like so many others before it (I would know).

Make your posts as full as memories as possible, since most of us will appreciate your words.  Your memories can also help jog someone else's.  Trust me, I've forgotten my first few of playing already and it would be great if someone's memories helped me remember my days starting out.

Ok, go crazy.

I remember just looking for a place to find people who played this game and stumbled on Wiiunite. This game is the whole reason I'm here and I met some real cool people on here. Used to have awesome pistol fights with Adamz. Whatever happened to that guy?

I remember SoL's first clan war.  We played against Clan Zero, and lost in the first two rounds.

That was also my first participation in a flame war, too.

Damn! 10 karma points for that intro, ress.

Ill probably periodically post when stuff comes to mind but for now ill put the most memorable people I versed before I joined GF's and then WU.  These weren't necessarily friends or foe, but just stuck out because they pwnned the he'll out of me.

Grimjow
Knifes templar
mattrick BT
VTanthrax
Bowlmover
BC guys (don't remember their names but joined because there were always a boat load in the servers and they were ranked)
skoob
Toun
tigerfear
bobsomebody
dallas(numbers) had a good shotty
make1train

Those were just off the top of my head. Im sure if I logged onto my acct id see some more that bring back memories.

As far as playing after joining the forum scene, it was the best thing that happened. The game felt so much more real and alive to me. I could actually relate and speak to my peers and raise the bar of competition and see how I stacked up. Words cannot describe what it felt like, but I can say that I have no regrets besides not getting the game 5 months earlier and joining the forums sooner.

I remember when teamkilling was so hilarious to me. I remember those first few times I played in glitch rooms and learned how to glitch through the guidance of others. I made my first video on basic MoH glitches and uploaded it to Youtube. From there people people introduced me to clans and I heard about this site. I spent a lot of time in xat chatboxes talking to people that I recognized from the game. I heard about the Sons of Liberty and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I talked to Ocelot and Turboweasle and they were both nice, but Turbo remembered my teamkilling antics and didn't approve Tongue I remember getting more involved in Wii Unite when I played in the Mega CTF of Doom and Destruction back in 08.

That's all for now; like Kreater, I wished I could have learned about this community months earlier Embarrassed

My story is a long one.

When I first started playing, the only map and game type I played was Village CTF.  I was ALWAYS on the Allies.  I'd always just stand in big barn door up against the wall, poking my head out, and sniping towards the Sunnyside house.  I was no good.  There was always this one Axis guy, named Dreidle, that would always snipe me before I even saw him.  I was very impressed.  That's why that's one of the memories I won't forget.

Then, I tried out the BAR and I loved it.  That gun got me going out of the barn.  I'd always go to Sunnyside and just throw grenades down the alley towards the Axis barn and refill.  A really cheap tactic, but hey, I was still learning.  One of the people who could use the BAR was tigerfear, I remember him, too.

Then, a few weeks later and getting bored of the constant thud of the BAR, I moved on to the Thompson.  I hated this gun.  It's rate of fire was too fast for me and I couldn't control the recoil all too well.  But, some of the best players I played with at the time were absolute beasts with this gun, so i though I'd try it out.  These beasts were people like atillaBad and BC MADDOG.  By the time I moved on to the Thompson, I was able to be at the top of the scoreboard in games without them, and I was really proud of that.  But when I was in a game with one or both of these guys, I was blown away by the speed at which they were able to mow down enemies with.  They could join a game already almost done and get to the top in no time.  These were the guys that could fill a kill feed.  That's what I wanted to be like.

So I tried out the Thompson.

I ended up loving it after a while.

To be continued...

Sometimes when I went online, I'd see servers made by a guy named Dragonsly (his name was in the title of the server).  These Village CTFs were eye openers to me.  So many great players joined these.  Most of these players played on Axis, and they opened my eyes to that set of weapons.

banthaPudu, undrclsshero, ss dru, and saladin ali all had amazing STGs.  They could use these things as sniper rifles and being up close with them was just trying to live through an eternity of being shot at (I swear, those things  seem like they don't even need to be reloaded).

The MP40 was the scariest weapon to go up against.  I almost always lost against people who used it.  Just the noise it made and the rate of fire took away my confidence.  Not to mention the fast reload (which I later learned how to do).  I don't remember, yet, playing anyone who was absolutely AMAZING with, but that's because it was the most popular gun in the game (besides the bazooka!).  There were just so many players.... but I do remember a person whose name was barbiebro or something like that...

Other great players from those CTFs were people like OBryan, a dummy (although he always glitched through windows), some guy with TEC in his name (I don't think it was JesusTEC), Aguirre, Crzy89, and there were countless others.

The people in those CTFs were the elites to me.  They knew how to play and I learned a lot playing from them, even though I may have been frustrated a lot (who wouldn't be when you're being killed all the time?).

Anyways, these players brought me over to the Axis side, and the first weapon I tried out was the STG.  I didn't really like.  I thought it was weaker than the BAR just because it didn't sound as robust.

I tried the Gewehr.  I thought it was a good sniper, but the scope was way too big, so I didn't use it.  The grenades were the worst experience for me.

To be honest, I didn't really like any of the Axis weapons at the time.  I guess history class made me biased against that side.  So I stuck with the Allies and throughout all my time playing, I have almost always played on the Allies.

I remember the team kills you focker, but I didn't laugh so much then. I was fighting for my life and then you go living up to yoyr name. Its funny now though.                               destructodad was my first account and oh what a babe in the woods. I was blown away just by the page after page of games to choose from.

I actually stopped playing after am month or sombecause I was constantly getting my ass handed to me.  I went back to playing Zelda for a while and then backto MoH again.  Tis time I tried mp40 and just used it because the longer barrel felt comfortable, almost as if it was pointed at the level of the opponents head already.  I started getting good and people were requesting me to be friends.  One of my first friends was from wB (wii Brothers) and we usually joined each others servers.

Soon after realizing that relying on crappy teammates wasn't going to win me games I got into DM...a lot. This is where I learned to duck, dodge, and strafe to stay alive, as well as kill and reload fast enough to still do well. I made a name for myself in DM's and had fun doing it.  I could rack up the kills, move up the rankings faster, and winning depended on hoe well I did, myself.
