And possibly any of the new released games with it?  I haven't done a lot of reading, but what price is it expected to be put at?

I'm getting it.

It releases on November 18th in two sets. Basic Set which is the White one with 8GB internal memory will be $299.99. Deluxe Set which is the Black one with 32GB internal memory will be $349.99.

Here's the post that details all of the Wii U info we know of: http://wiiunite.smfforfree3.com/index.php/topic,23074.msg439276.html#msg439276

I'll get it eventually. Money is running unexpectedly low do to other things so I probably won't get it until Pikmin 3 comes out.

I'm assuming there won't be a need to install games on to the hard drive, and it's solely used for DLC/photos etc.?  That's a pretty low amount of space.

For which set? You can use external harddrives, SD cards and stuff like that to have more memory if you need more.

Both sets.  If people can fill up a 250 GB hard drive, pretty sure dividing that number by eight isn't exactly intelligent.

People can, not everybody does though. More memory would just make the console cost more. I'm not saying more memory is a bad thing.

My big disappointment in the Wii online gives me reservations about it.  Definitely will not purchase it at launch, and I will probably save my money for a next gen 360. Sadly I will probably miss all the Nintendo classics (SSB, MK etc).

probably not. maybe later if I see a reason to in the future.

about the memory thing. is there not an option to upgrade the internal memory? are you saying you'd have to have an external HDD plugged into it to have extra memory? that's pretty ghey if so. do they have any cloud save options in the works at least?

what games will be on it that would make it worth a purchase anyway?... excluding Ninty exclusives like mario and zelda of course.

I just don't see much reason to buy one when I have a PS3 and the PS4 will probably be way better and release not too long after the Nintendo.

I'll probably get one a year or so after it's debut. There's not a single game that makes it worth it to me right now and I want to wait until it's library grows a little bit. Plus, as mentioned above, Nintendo Wii had some really crappy online quality and I want to find out if the same thing will happen on the Wii U.

The online quality is very smooth and quick  Afro  I have a PS3 and black ops 2 for both systems.  For myself, the online quality is better on the wii u.  No freezing yet and getting online and in a match much faster than I do on the PS3.
