Title: If you could pick how your going to die--how? Post by: RON on November 15, 2012, 07:06:42 pm If you could pick how to die- how would you? I know for one thing after being in the army and seeing people burned to death that they die bad and in the fetal position. In fact Ive not seen any one pass in peace - every one is trying so hard to stay - if you haven't seen death but only heard it- you can hear IT is death. I called it the death rattle and went to the dictionary to look it up to see if I was the only one who thought like this. Even in Spanish they call it estortor agonico. I'm thinking drowning wouldn't be so bad (peaceful).Side note the Spanish word for drowning and choking are the same word. Any way at this point if you take the factor of a God letting me into heaven out then I think I would be cool going out on some drug or pain killer but heck what do I know. I am really interested to hear ya all's thoughts on this. Thanks and have a great evening.

I guess I'll go back to the drawing board on that one but I can say for damn sure I ain't choosin' drowning. That's got to be the worst way to go. I know when I stay underwater a few seconds too long and start struggling to hold my breath I start to freak the hell out!

It was damn scary for a while until I trained myself to keep a bit of calm and control my breathing. I guess I'm looking at it that way as opposed to being under water and not even having the choice.
