Title: Le Mis Thread Post by: Handass on January 10, 2013, 08:53:20 pm Go. Russel Crowe was horrible as Javert. Didn't build up the utter hatred of Javert you're supposed to have before he makes a complete u-turn and makes you break down when he jumps. I don't think I even need to bring up his singing to reinforce this. Hugh Jackman was great as Jean Valjean. Great voice to boot. Anne Hathaway was great as Fantine too. The real star of the movie was Eddie Redmayne's Marius. I mean, damn. Absolutely perfect. The chick who played Eponine was a distant second. |
