Women are generalized as being weak, emotional, damsels in distress, that's why you'll never see a female president. Sure, England has the Queen, but they're weak, emotional, damsels in distress. Women have always had the shaft whether it's wages, equality, or distribution of power. Let's face facts: Guys have a ****, some balls, and a prostate. Women are so complicated they have their own surgical specialty. Trust me, I stare at about 10 vaginas a day in the OR.

It pays to know someone who knows someone, that's how I got my job. Get some good references like teachers, professors, and make a LinkedIn profile. That blows most job search sites out of the water IMO. When I graduated college I had tons of insurance companies wanting to hire me as an agent, so while that's not McDonald's, it's commission. You really gotta start wherever you can. You have to build up a resume to get others to look at it. There's always entrepreneurship too.
