I have yet to see a decision a mod made in the WCL that was wrong. The only thing i don't like about it is it allowiing 100cc and being 5v5 instead of 4v4

And creating a ladder would not quite be the same as gamebattles and would certainly not outrule that. It would just be a weekly kinda thing where you have to play your league match. Don't know why you are trying to redirect this discussion into a local ladder again when that is not what was being discussed. Although of course games playing the conduit version of WCL could easily ALSO be counted on a ladder - even gamebattles if you choose to register them there.

Can't think of any other than trying to ask for help from the organisers (like bash) from the actual WCL.

One thing i do think should be done for this WCL is quickly decide to make region ladders though, lag could be a little more annoying here than in mkw (though it's also annoying in mkw Tongue). Even if i've had decent experience against americans most of the time until now Smiley

Don't post in my thread you damn cheater, I still don't like you punk.

I mean seriously....How is it nubish if it's apart of the game?? To bad nobody who says it's nubish has not posted here.
I did, lock on is dookie.
And so did I. I surely hope i'm not the only one who thinks it's a good idea to e-mail HVS and say they should get rid of the camera help, and just keep the healthbar there for the sequel Lips Sealed

I'm not going to tell people not to use it because "it's part of the game" ^x^, but i do think the game would be better without it. Especially the shotgun, as i "essayed" earlier Kiss

Did i just hear someone use the "it's part of the game" argument? Afro

The WCL is still succesful Tongue

And yeah something similar to the WCL would be amazing. Maybe you could get bash to help you out on it Tongue

MoH's graphics are underrated. They are not so bad for a wii game Tongue

mkw is not as luck-based as you'd think. Even less in clanwars. It's not a coincidence that evul went undefeated last WCL season. That's not to say the game couldn't be a whole lot better. It sure was dissapointing compared to mkds - which was even a handheld game.

Dudedudedude: For the joining friends thing you simply do exactly what the mkw community does (although the mkw community mainly does it because of a low friend roster limit), make a seperate war account that you add all the people from your clan on. If you're host for your team you add the people you're playing against so they can join, and delete them when the war is over. It doesn't even take that long Tongue
The whole voting option thing is just about finding standard modes and agree to some specific rules before the war starts. Much like MoH did.

I'd like to join if you wouldn't mind a european playing Smiley

One problem with FFA tournaments is that you can't really ban teaming though, and so smart players will try to make some sort of alliances Tongue

It's not noobish at all. And stel you could just melee then when they walk at you.
Don't you think i do that lol?
The problem is these guys can turn any amount at any speed while maintaining perfect aim. Thus it's not so simple to just melee them nor can you expect them to be in melee range... Nor can you expect to be able to melee them 3 times before you die. I don't think it's up for discussion wether this is the noob thing or not considering this is, as i said, what you see alot of people solo. They can't use anything else (even with lock-on) so it shouldn't be hard to see really Wink (Seriously you see more people only using shotgun in this game, than people only using mp40 in MoH and CoD - i'd gladly bet this number would be considerably reduced if the game didn't have lock-on)

That's not to say it's an unbeatable strategy (far from it), but it certainly is the most fruity part of the lock-on. Shotgun would work much better and be a much more respectable weapon if lock-on was not in this game.
13  Gaming Boards / The Conduit / Conduit 2 / Re: Do you think Auto aim is for nubs? on: July 07, 2009, 06:31:37 pm
I use it, but i don't use it in extreme close quarters when people walk through me because it feels unnatural to me that it will actually follow them (although i do know it ridicilously enough will). Probably something i need to get used to doing though. Undecided

And while this of course also results in me being really poor in close quarters shotgun battles i generally must say that specifically shotgun+lock-on is the "noob" thing in this game (not counting rocket launcher which is always up there heh Tongue). It's what you'll see most players do. Some even only using the shotgun (hoping for their near/far vote of course) even on extreme close range try to bunny hop their way over to you and take extreme advantage of the lock-on being able to aim and follow you at the same time in an unnatural manner (You cannot keep aim on a target and turn this much at the same time).

So yeah umm... Lock-on is one of the things HVS need to change for their sequel. Personally i'd like the health indicator to stay in the game, but leave out any camera control that follows the lock-on currently. I hope i can get a few conduit players to agree with that and request it to HVS when the time comes a little closer to talk about the conduit 2 Tongue

Strike rifle basically is a sniper with a weird abbility to shoot some weak semi-automatic shots. It should fill any snipers need anyway. Exact same power as in MoH. About half health taken for a body hit one hit kill for a headshot. Slightly slowe rate of fire than both though i think (not counting those automatic shots of course...)

I've had people make me suicide by running into me after i stickied them 3 times now Undecided
