To be fair, he's like three years younger than me.  He's probably too young to remember Toonami.

But I like this trend.  First Nickelodeon bringing back the awesome shows from the 90s, now Toonami.

But T.O.M. 1 brings back memories of Sailor Moon, and those were good memories.  :(

I was really turned off from Sailor Moon by the fact that this really fat, annoying, rude girl at my daycare was always going on about it. That, and every time I did actually find it on I didn't know what was ever going on. I'd rather save up my tv allowance for DBZ or Gundam (even though Gundam was never on at the god damn times I could watch it).

Oh, and the few times the daycare worker let her play the videos, they'd skip over the transformation scenes. For a 9-year-old, that took a lot of the interest away.

Unfortunately it was TOM 3. But the entire line-up included DBZ(end of cell arc), Gundam Wing(end of first season), Tenchi Muyo(3rd OVA aka end of series aka ohgodwhatthefuckisgoingon), Outlaw Star(final ep), Big O, and some other stuff I can't remember. I think YuYu Hakasho was thrown in there

Damn, I always wanted to see the whole Cell arc. I saw the episodes where he consumes the androids and have the first episode in the arc, but never got to see the rest.

I was an underprivileged child.   Embarrassed

Farthest I ever got into the Cell arc was Piccolo's attempt to stop him.  So basically I saw practically nothing.

Yeah, that's the VHS I have. I don't know why, but I've just always been really interested in bad guys trying to evolve/assimilate others. Like the Borg, or zombies. Cell was just such a conscious and deliberate form of that idea, so I naturally loved him.

I've seen all three arcs including the god awful fillers 2-3 times, watched through all of DBZ like 2 years ago for the nostalgia factor. Literally took me a month or two
