First, I'd like to inform everyone about something that happened very recently. Some of you may have received PMs from me that seemed cryptic at the time, and this will clear it up.
Tuesday afternoon, Pillow gave out his login information to a handful of members in a FB group chat. This resulted in a few of those members accessing his account, making their own accounts administrators (along with others' accounts who weren't necessarily involved), changing his account password so no one would be able to log into it but themselves, and demoting BMan and me to prevent us from reversing what they did. Thankfully, they did nothing malicious to the site that we are aware of. However, none of those involved showed any intention of reversing what they had done and evidently planned on extending their "prank" as long as they could by making backup accounts with administrator powers.
After a few hours of this, Dave realized what was going on (as he had also been made an administrator by those with access to Pillow's account) and contacted me, and together we were able to restore things to the way they had been before Pillow gave out his information.
Though nothing malicious was done to the site, what Pillow did constitutes a massive breach of trust, and he has been permanently banned from this site. Alumar has also been permanently banned, as he seems to have been intimately involved in what happened.
On a lighter note, Dave has been promoted to the position of Global Moderator for his assistance Tuesday night as well as his continuous contributions to the site in general. We owe him a lot for his quick thinking, and we are very grateful for his loyalty.

Yeah, its even more weird if you read the chat log. I still wish pillow would say something for himself in his own defense cuz it just seems so out of character. Congrats Dave, now you can read the secret boards where we talked about you behind your back.  |

I don't think that's the case anymore considering what happened. I'm surprised it happened though since Pillow was involved in a lot of the improvements the past few months.
