They weren't kidding about using 80% of the Frostbite 2 engine this time. Full reveal tomorrow.

Damn, they had the reveal trailer but EA took it down. I think the IGN video is still on their site though.

I like what I see except that it would have been better without the crappy music. Hope they get an official trailer up on Youtube in HD soon.

Damn, this game looks amazing. I mean, the gameplay looked generic as ****, but if you're buying Battlefield for single player, you're doing it wrong.

A couple of things I noticed:

-suppression is gone. his screen didn't get blurry when he was getting shot.

-higher damage model? he took a few direct shots successively and his screen didn't go all **** red. this is a huge plus for me. if it's like that for multiplayer it should mean that combat will be slowed down a lot more vs bf3. tactical > twitchy

-spotting isn't spammed. when he was spotting the enemies up ahead, he couldn't shoot at them while spotting. he first spotted, it took a second, and then he could shoot. again, it's slowing things down a bit and making it more tactical. you can't start shooting and spamming spot non stop.

also, **** the distorted bass sound they have at the end. what the ****? they pushed it hard enough in bf3 to where it was barely acceptable but now it's like they turned the gain up all the way and broke the knob off and then hooked it up to a gassy fat man for even "m0ar baizz".

DAmn, I just got home and pissed my pants! That **** looks amazing! From everything I've read and now seen, it looks like they've fixed or improved upon every single part of BF3. Even the animations look more natural and realistic.

Also, dat destruction. Damn, I'm just so excited about this game.

Also, a few subtle things to keep an eye out for:

First and most obvious, this is a new map

Second, notice how you actually have to fight between the main island and the smaller ones on it's sides.

Third, notice how important naval warfare actually is. Patrol boats and jet skis all around tearing **** up

Fourth, notice the new game mode. Aparently, there's one bomb and both teams fight over it. The carrier is highlighted so I guess you have to defend the carrier.

Fifth, the waves actually impact gameplay. If I see a wave on my end, you'll also see it on your end so that'll play a part in naval warfare

Sixth, the part where the big bomb explodes and you see all the trees shake. Basically, from what I understand that's like a "virtual wind gust" so all the trees and things like that will react to a mass of "moving air".

Lastly, again, that destruction. About a minute in you can see individual walls inside a building being blown apart. Then they show the outside view and the entire building is seen falling. Destruction is back.
