I was testing the whole "styles" thing and figured out how to add styles from the site Autumn quoted in this topic: http://wiiunite.smfforfree3.com/index.php/topic,24603.0.htmlI put in a few test styles that you'll see under the styles dropdown box under the banner. Tests 1-4. If you'd like, test those out and see which ones look good to you or would look good for others. You don't have to keep using them, they're just options. The poll is to gauge which ones you guys like. We'll probably end up keeping some of them. So use them while you can and let us know how they look. P.S. I actually like Bluegrass myself. It's like an alternate color scheme to the default. But I'm not thinking of changing the default style. Just to add styles. About Black Wrapper which is the 3rd one. It probably doesn't look as good because it comes with a border. As you can see in the preview here: http://www.styleyourforum.com/preview/index.php?styleid=645The problem with that is the border is formed by header and footer code which is separate from the style code. So if I put the border on, it would display all the time even on different styles. I'd like that style more if I was able to put the border on it without it affecting the whole site look. I'm still looking into some other styles. Also, some of the styles have their own images for old posts/new posts and all that so that's a possibility. For the Night Wolf style, I'm able to change the background picture on it. I think that's it for now. |

I want a TMNT background I wish there was a TMNT style on there but we'd probably have to make it ourselves. Thinking about it, that could be done but that'll be later if I ever get back to it. About the Test Styles currently up, for now I will keep the Night Wolf and Black Wrapper ones even though the latter is technically incomplete. I'll take the other two down, put some others up for you guys to see and reset the poll to reflect the next test styles going up. Those will probably be the last of the style tests then we'll move to other matters. |
