I don't so much mean on the side (in your free time), but if you were ever in a band class (as many of us may have been for a year or two in middle school).
Although I've picked up and played most of the instruments in an orchestra outside of string instruments (my school didn't have them D:), I mostly played the French Horn, Clarinet, and Bari. Saxophone.
... and I guess I played the recorder from Gr. 4-6, lol.

Wow... you're so lucky. I would LOVE to buy and learn how to play a string instrument (other than guitar). Cello is probably my favourite. |

Wow... you're so lucky. I would LOVE to buy and learn how to play a string instrument (other than guitar). Cello is probably my favourite. The cello makes a nice sound. I really enjoyed playing it. The violin I got is a really cheap one with a crappy bow that I'm going to use to learn. I have to buy a tuner for it because I suck at tuning and can't do it by ear and a book or two. Other than that, I'm not going to spend a ton of money on a trainer. Now the guitar is obviously one of the instruments that I'd like to learn. It's one of those "cool" instruments. Everyone wants to be the guitar hero. piano
Oh, and the piano too. I'd like to learn the piano but don't have the money for that one. |

I play by ear, and mostly improv everything as I go. I've never really taken lessons, so I just kinda play. A few pieces I actually know are Fur Elise, Moonlight Sonata, and I've been teaching myself Flight of the Bumblebee which is fun, lol. This is all on the piano by the way.
For guitar, I again taught myself and play by ear, but I'm not nearly as good at guitar as I am piano. I prefer playing bass guitar because it's easier to improv stuff in between chord transitions.

Trombone for 1 year in elementry, in which I gave up for sports. Wish I was taller back then, almost could dunk at 5'-11".
I cant sing/dance, honestly not good at music.

Two turntables and a microphone  Played rhythm guitar in high school and college. Won a battle of the bands type show in college, but only because our lead guitarist wailed. Still have my '85 candy-apple red Stratocaster, but my old amp sucks ballsacks. |
