Probably way too late for this...

I only have a switch.
No idea what or if I will get a next gen console.
I pretty much only play Breath of the Wild (I've gotten into the speedrunning community for that game a bit so I mess around with the speedrunning strats for fun). Otherwise, I'll play Mario Odyssey from time to time, but once I got over 500 stars and unlocked Darker Side, I really haven't picked it back up (although the speedrunning for that game looks fun too with really cool movement).
As you can tell, I don't really play online games these days.

PC PS5 for Demon's Souls remake Apex, Spellbreak, Crusader Kings 3, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, and I guess Minecraft 6 PM CST to 10 PM CST most nights

Either Zelda has some wild replay value or you're a little obsessed at this point. I don't play online games myself either. I don't know. It all feels so annoying now. >Demon's Souls Boi, I had to re-watch that trailer on YT 4k settings just to get the best bitrate. Very beautiful game. I don't have the time to get good at a game like Souls but the graphics quality has really gone up from last gen.

Yeah the graphical facelift looked beautiful, I'm just hoping the gameplay feels close enough to the original.

Either Zelda has some wild replay value or you're a little obsessed at this point. Well, it has decent replay value. Given just how non-linear and open it is, along with literally everything being optional, I've played through multiple times without doing it the same way twice. Each puzzle has nearly infinite solutions if you approach it different ways, so it's fun to try to solve them in unique approaches. So with every run taking 50-100 hours, depending on what you do, that adds up quick. Then add to that how I really enjoy the speedrunning of the game, and you take just a few playthroughs and multiply that exponentially just to practice the runs. And with such an open world, there are lots of great speedrunning categories to enjoy.

What categories do you run, Ohio? I love watching BotW speedruns and challenge runs.

I have run any% (I only did that to originally learn the plateau route, but I don't care for that category), and I have run 100% a few times for fun. But my favorite is All Towers. Not sure why, but I find it the most fun for me. I think it goes back to my casual playthroughs and how I tended to rush the towers then too. That's really the only category I truly get into myself to the point where I've been trying to develop my own routes to see if I can get faster routing than the standard routes. I've dabbled in a few of the other categories once or twice, like all dungeons and all shrines, and even did dog% once. But since I don't stream, it's really just messing around anyway. I also like to just watch many speedrunners as well. I lean toward the 100% runners. I was watching SpecsNStats when the category was in its infancy and now it is amazing how many serious runners have picked it up.

All Towers sounds like the category I'd prefer too, since 100% for BotW sounds like it'd be a massive time sink. If you ever record some of your runs I'd watch them.

PC - Awesomenauts, Slay the Spire, Monster Train Switch - Mainly use it for workout via Just Dance / Ring Fit Adventure, but also do a lot of animal crossing and have played most of the AAA staples (mario zelda etc)
Ps5 has my interest
my gaming schedule is mostly late night

I've been playing Immortals Fenyx Rising. A surprisingly great game. I know many call it a BotW knock off, and there are certainly some elements quite clearly stolen. But I don't really care about that. It's just a very fun open world adventure RPG.
