Why are you digging holes?  Putting up a fence?  You are such a rugged guy, chopping wood and all Smiley

I have more yard work to do, and of course the never ending house cleaning Tongue

Well... we bought this house 3 years ago, and it turns out there are cracks in the foundation on one side of the house...

Problem is, the side with the cracks also has a deck built on it, sooooooooo... for the past two months, my dad and I have been taking apart the deck on weekends.  Prying out those 4-5 inch nails from the wood... D:

Well, we've finally taken apart enough of the deck to start digging, and we started yesterday.  The ground isn't all dirt, it's comprised of dirt and rocks, small and large.  Every time I go to jab the shovel into the ground, the shovel hits rock and my arm rings.

It's hard work.  I feel like a Mexican.

Oh, 40 Celsius is 104 Fahrenheit.

No pressure washer.  D:

Well, we hit clay after a few centimetres down.   Cry

We ended up getting about 2 feet deep and about 4 and a half feet wide.  Did I mention it's like monsoon season here?
