MW2 is bashed for no reason. It's annoying, but the game's fine. It's the people playing it.

Either way, buying CoD4 instead is stupid since CoD = playing with friends.

Also - BC2/MAG = lol.

This is true to a degree.  The HBS and the overpowered grenade launchers were just fudge-ups on IW's part.  Everything else is just the dickwads being dickwads.

True. I hardly see anyone using HBS though... honestly.

And to be honest, I use nade launchers... mainly the thumper... to clear out campers. It's the best way to do so. : D

I use my SoH, DC, Ninja thumper AK47 nade launcher class quite a bit. : P

Sometimes I even feel like the nade launchers are underpowered.  Angry

I saw HBS frequently in SnD before I got to 29 on my new prestige.  Now I don't die to them, so I hardly ever see them.  Wink

And I always think the noobtubes are underpowered when I'm using it, even if I go with Danger Close.

I'd play more if someone could explain to me about all of the perks and crap that you gain as you level up. Undecided

I'm such a casual gamer that I don't look too much into that stuff.

Here's all you need to know to be decent at MW2: Scavenger/Sleight of Hand/Marathon, Stopping Power/Lightweight, Commando

They're perks.  You have three slots for perks, and only certain perks can go in certain places.  You have to choose between the perks in the three lists.

As for what they do, well...

Scavenger lets you take ammo of off guns from dead enemies
Lightweight makes you more agile
Commando increases your melee range

All the perks also have unlockable pro perks.  For instance, Scavenger Pro starts you off with more ammo; Lightweight Pro lets you switch to your gun more quickly after sprinting; Commando Pro takes away falling damage.

There are more, but Scav Pro, Stopping Power Pro, and Commando Pro is probably the most common setup for TDM.

No. Scav / SP / Commando is the noobiest class possible.

Just saying.

OMA DC doesn't count.

Well since I've probably only got * hrs playing time total, I'm a noob, so that class would fit me well, no?
