I'm sure we've all been getting some chain mail recently what with PSN+ coming out combined with the usual scams, but I started thinking it would be nice if we could keep a log of all this stuff so that, once a scam is found and tested, people will know not to send it when they get it.  I realize this won't make this stuff go away, but I think it will be helpful nonetheless.  I'm also interested in whether some of these work.  So, if you have some chain mail, either post it here exactly as you got it or just forward it to me and I'll do it.  You don't have to post who sent you the mail, either.

I'll start this off with one I recently got:

"www.psncodegenerator.com/?i=572921 type this in to ur computer and find out how u get ur free psn money"

Status: Not tested
Comments: If you go to this website, you get this screen.  A random code is generated in the box to the right, two testimonials are to the left, and a description of what each amount of messages sent will get you is below the code.  As the testimonials are very vague and are submitted by somewhat anonymous names, it appears highly unlikely to work.  Also, Sony's privacy policy states that messages are kept private and no tracking software is used.  This is in the process of being tested.

Yeah... I just ignore all of these, and say something along the lines of "wow, really?" to anyone who sends me them.

Stupid.
