Games can get boring, we all know that.  It's definitley more fun playing with friends though, and like JD said, sometimes you just have to play for the fun of it regardless of what it takes.  Nobody wants to die in these games, but like I've said before, if I want to sit back and mortar the whole town, or see how many guys I can defib, then that's fun too. Lately, if the game is out of control in Vietnam, then I'll grab the flamethrower and see what type of damage I can do.

This spoke to me. PREACH ON! I have been wound so tight these past couple weeks! My favorite times on this game have been when LT, PiB, and I have had our shank contests. (GH, I wish you shanked more, hahahaha. I think in order for me to have more fun and stop raging you need to knife more people. It's the only way...).

SHANK YOU VERY MUCH!

yeah K, those guys were totally camping so I just figured I'd take away their places to hide.  BTW, thanks for the introduction to Squad TDM in Vietnam, I totally enjoy it more than conquest here.  Conquest always turns into a one-sided game, you need to caputure and hold B, but either way it's always one-sided.

Good games to everyone this Holiday weekend.  I really do like the weapons here, kind of reminds me of MoH.  Sniping is fun, hip shooting is pretty accurate. And I swear the shotgun reloads faster in the Vietnam mode.

Some of you guys worry too much about KDR and IRS.  Sometimes you just have to grab some C4 or dynamite and have a little fun with the physics of this game.   Azn

I love love love this.  <3

And this!  Some people's method of "fun" is having good stats and that sort of virtual glory, so I get it.  But for me personally, I don't like taking it seriously and find other ways of having fun if the game gets boring or difficult.  Like driving a quad backwards, or being an extreme-lumberjack who takes down a forest with C4, or launching ammo boxes with the Gooooosetav.

But yeah, Dave's right about taking a break sometimes makes it feel like a whole new game when you come back to it.

Hope you come back to BC2 soon, LT.  We didn't play much, but anytime we did, I always had a good time.  Smiley

Yeah, ggs! I had fun playing. The squad deathmatches made me want to hurt someone, fo' real. The conquest was better and I had a blast in my last few games of the night... er, early morning. Afro

Well, since I've taken a voluntary break from gaming, I haven't checked my PSN, so you'll need to call me out here or PM me when you'd like some company. Smiley

GG Coolhand.  Sorry I didn't stick around after that match.  I think I hit my limit on BC2 for today.

Well, for me, I've lost a lot of sleep from gaming since I only play when the kids go to sleep and wake early for work. Then it becomes a domino effect where I'm too tired to go to the gym, spending less quality time with the wife, and less time preparing my Sunday school lessons for church. There's a lot of things that are effected so I'm just trying to find an even bigger balance than before. As most know, I only play 2-3 hrs per session, so it not like I was pulling a DREAMR with 8+ hrs per day,  but even with the small amount of playing time that I did have, it was still too much. Undecided

yeah, i had to do the same thing...stoopid job, and wife, and kids, and other random crap taking away from gaming...lol Azn

On REFLEX i was addicted to climbing the scoreboard over the summer...Once I realized that I would NEVER BE in top one hundred, or even in the top 5 on WIIUNITE, it really helped me ween off of it...

With BLACK OPS, I am going into the game NOT addicted to points or really much of anything...the only real goal I have is maintaing a k/d ration over 1.4 if i can...
