Ggs, I guess.. Not exactly the kind of lobbies you want to join when you haven't played an fps in a month or two, and even then it was bf3.

Yeah, it was rough for a while. Things got better when we moved to SDM, but you had to leave before that. D:

Haha, that's how it usually works out. Before bc2 today my friend and I were playing bf3 and having mediocre success. The game after he left, I went 61-22 on metro

Judging by all the gripe Metro gets, congratulations are in order.

Well, it's really due to a combination of bad tactics and the OPness of the new suppression system. I actually like playing on Metro. The map design is very linear, but I absolutely love two places: The steps leading up to the Ticket Booth, and the Hallway next to it. They're both pretty unique spots, and ones that really weed out the noobs (they'll run down the hallway or stand right on the stairs, both places where you'll die if you stand there longer than a second). I think the main reason people don't like it is that Battlefield is meant to be open, and the only map they used for the beta was an underground subway.. Not the greatest idea on their part, and I think they lost a lot of sales due to it. Not to mention the fact that after the "beta", all the problems and complaints were left unchanged.

Do you still fall through the map in random places?

Nope, though there is one spot on Wake Island where I've been killed by guys that show up on the minimap but you can't see them. I play **** so there's no killcam, but I assume they were underground. Also, one of the games I played today was Rush on one of the Karkand maps, I think Sharqi Peninsula. One spot is full of destructible buildings. They actually fall apart much better than in bc2 (I found myself on the top of a roof with the stairs blown away behind me, thanks to an enemy tank ) but it's still on a very disappointing scale. They've proven to me now that they can make destructible environments, they just somehow don't have the desire to.

Yeah Metro is the place to be to rack up kills. I got 73 kills there the other day. I swear, if the controls were manageble this game would be cool, but my overall rating is about 7.5/10 Ggs earlier (yesterday). I'm sure I would have had a woody if I were apart of the SDM's, those were my favorite.

I never really liked SDM that much. I prefer having an objective to work towards and killing people while doing it, not just straight up getting to a certain kill amount the fastest.
@Jabba:
That issue has me butthurt so much. I can't get over how much of a difference the lack of destruction makes. What makes it worse is exactly what you said. Obviously they CAN do it and it looks a lot cooler in this game compared to BC2. They just don't want to for some reason. 8(

Playing the objective is only fun when your team has similar interests.

Playing the objective is only fun when your team has similar interests. I found one server, something along the lines of "AMERICANS-MIC ONLY". Almost everyone had a mic and played the objective it was awesome That issue has me butthurt so much. I can't get over how much of a difference the lack of destruction makes. Me too. It makes it so much more fun. If that was the first game I'd played in bf3, I would have been so excited. Instead, I knew the rest of the map -and every other map- featured only one or two destructible building faces. Seriously, you can destroy the face of a building, but hit it again and nothing happens.. the fu ck.

That's very true actually.
I've always wondered what goes through a persons mind when you see them doing the most whacked out things. The other day I capped a flag all alone while another guy sat literally just outside the cap zone and got no points. Then you get guys that run around playing TDM vs one guy while 4 others steal the flag. Oh and let's not forget the snipers.
I just want to know if these people legitimately think they are helping in some way. For all I know, in their mind they are doing the best they can and if flags are lost, there's nothing more they could have done.
