Customization is needed, therefore perks are needed. But yes, MW2 messed up a little with Commando and One Man Army, but all games have flaws.

You just admitted that you don't play with IRL friends, taking away most of the fun of the game, it's all about competition, who unlocks what first, how much you've played, what titles you have that your friends don't, etc. It's all about having fun in private matches, playing games and stuff. Then going out into FFA and unlocking some attachments.

You don't get the full experience if you play alone / with people you don't know.

Also, it's impossible to play fast in BC2 since the fastest you can run in BC2 is basically the same as running with an LMG and a Javelin on MW2. It's a slow game, it's not a bad thing, it's just not my thing.

and lol at aimbots, lol at camping... that's some people... all people play differently... camping isn't MW2s problem at all.

BC2 has customization. It just doesnt need stupid commando perks and one man army.

No I dont play with IRL friends. That doesnt mean I cant and it doesnt mean that nobody else does. I find more satisfaction in doing well and/or winning a game vs good opponents. I could give two shits about how much someone else has played or what title they got or this and that. Its just a way of saying "I cant beat you at the ACTUAL game so Im going to use this as an excuse to make myself feel better when comparing myself to you as this is the only way I can beat you at anything. EVERYONES A WINNER!" Thats male cattle dung.

Just because you cant run fast and lunge 120 ft to knife someone doesnt mean you cant play fast. Again, thats a statement made by a typical CoD noob. You can still play fast by playing smart and putting your team in a strategically advantaged position. Here is an example:

You and your 3 mates sneak around and flank the opposing team. Your sniper takes a hidden position by some trees or a rock. The other three sneak near the mcom station and arm the explosive then the assault player and engineer start firing away at the 8 players that come to disarm. They take out a few but some hang back and begin to disarm the bomb. Remember your sniper? Yeah hes still in the back spotting all the enemies AND taking out whoever is disarming the bomb. By now your assault and engineer are probably dead so the medic comes out with his lmg and sprays away until he gets enough time to revive his teammates. While the enemies are busy there another squad is arming the other one which will further strain the resources that the enemy team has. From there you rush over to the next one and use a similar tactic which will probably not play out the same way so you will have to THINK and come up with another way to take out the mcom.

You make the game as slow or as fast as you want. If you run around like a CoD noob then its going to be a very slow and long game for you.

Camping is very much a CoD problem. Maybe not everyone camps but yes, everyone aimbots in one way or another. ESPECIALLY snipers. What a joke.

Both have valid points but none of the good players in MW2 use the nooby perks and like DG said, that's why we play in Private matches where teamwork is still required. In TDM, I admit there doesn't need to be really any teamwork for CoD but for SnD, Demolition, you won't win if you don't split up evenly. That's how Paranoid71 got his 37 winning streak on CoD. He plays with friends on modes like those and because of teamwork, they won all their matches. Honestly, I wouldn't mind if CoD didn't have any perks but I like the weapon customizations.

I watched my son play demolition the other day and not one opposing player moved from their corners, bushes, srairwells, and rooftops. When the chopper came out...forget about it. They sent runners and spawn killers. That's just not fun at all.

Not every match turns out and I understand there's a lot more camping in MW2 than BBC:2. If you're communicating with teammates and get the right class setups, you can overtake campers. I am thinking about buying BBC:2 though just to see if it's good or not.

Rushers are more annoying than campers in MW2.  Undecided

Edit: You keep bringing up the same flaws of the game to prove your point. I personally don't use all the cheap things in the game, I play for fun. It's not impossible, and not everyone does it. Again, play with friends and the game is perfect.

If you're not too much of a noob, you figure out where the camping spots are and normally the best players don't camp so when you hunt them down, you should be able to get the kill. Stay in the general area and he'll probably come back to hide and finish him off again. Sometimes they are useful. Tongue
