My favorite book would have to be Flowers For Algernon. That is a great book and it's not very long either. I still have that book and i'm planning to read it again once it starts getting colder. I also like reading the bible like Turd said. I've never actually read even half of it, but it's definitely addictive once you actually start to read it. You just feel like reading on and on.

THat book is actually pretty good. Its about a dude who is retarded and then they make him un retarded and he grows to love intelligence and becomes super smart ass. then he finds out its a temporary fix and that he will be turning retarded again so he tries to find a permanent solution on his own and realizes he cant as he slowly becomes retarded again.

That's a whole lotta r-bombs.
I have heard of that book also. I think I will put it on my list of books to read.
Another series I like is called the SoT series. Not sure anyone is as nerdy as I am, but I really, really like it. I own most of the books.

Oh, Joel! I wasn't trying to be mean. It was just a lot of it in a row. Sowwy. I knew it was the actual disability in the book. I was just giving you a hard time, haha.

I got it from the library, Mex and Joel, to read. Perhaps I will chime in my two cents sometime soon. I am still working on a few other books, not sure when I will get to it.

Nice June Tell us what you think once you read it. It's only 216 pages so not too much. I just quickly checked my book.

Okay, now that it's not 2 AM, I can make a better list. Chronicles of Narnia (top three favorites, in order) - The Voyage of the Dawn Treader - The Silver Chair - The Last BattleThe Silmarillion (J.R.R. Tolkien's book which explains how Middle Earth came to be) And Then There Were None, by Agatha Christie The Outsiders (So it's also a play; sue me) The Devil's Dictionary, by Ambrose Bierce Screwtape Letters, by C. S. Lewis The Great Divorce, by C. S. Lewis A Separate Peace, by John Knowles There are still more, but I can't think of all of them right now. And NDS, I own all of the Captain Underpants books.

"And I also told the students that, for the sake of humanity's future, I hoped they were all sterile." - Ignatius Reilly. Never mind what your daughter is taught in school; what she remembers is what she has learned from you. Anti-Noob Fortress of Veteraness Council Member ~Turboweasle~ I NEVER squeeze my jubblies, so that stuff wouldn't work for me.

Turbo! Those are my favorite of the Cronicles also! CS Lewis is an amazing writer. Screwtape letters I also really enjoy a good Agatha Christie book also. Too bad we can't have a book discussion sometime.
