I don't give a poop about b-ball, but I wouldn't say they aren't athletes. I played for a while (and hated it) but they do run a lot and it's not a sport just anyone can play. It requires skill, practice, and the ability to fake a fall like no other sport on earth, lol.  Wink

They are athletes, just kinda vertical tacos about it when they get bumped a little bit cuz it gives them a chance to score a free throw point or two. I never understood why you should get rewarded for taking a dive like they do in b-ball. Also, b-ball players seem to be the biggest whiny dooshbags in sports half the time.

still, b-ball > soccer. soccer is a girl sport plain and simple.

I agree they have one of the biggest egos in sports. Michael, Charles, Bird, Magic, Lebron, list goes on.

But there are really humble classy guys like Kevin Durant, Steve Nash, Grant Hill. And a lot of the players always give back to the community and continue it after basketball, Mutumbo Manute Bol RIP

You'd have to have the millions of dollars defenders be standing still if you want close to be close to 100%. Hmm I wonder why .300 batting average is considered good in the major leagues. Oh wait do they record the the shot attempts in hockey? Jeez.

Hitting a ball at 100 MPH with 8 inches of movement is a lot harder than dunking a basketball or shooting a basket. Terrible comparison.

Hmm I guess someone doesn't watch/play enough basketball if that's all he sees. The position of the thumb with your shooting hand is important. You lose that you can't shoot. Try playing a sport with no thumbs or where your dominant hand is necessary but you can't use your thumb. Don't tell me Shaq only dunks, amirite?

Tape that **** up and play. If Tiger can play golf without a knee, Shaq can play basketball without a thumb. I'll use Chris Bosh as another example. The guy goes does with a fractured nose and misses the rest of the season. I'm pretty sure I've seen masks in Basketball before. It's just an example of him being weak. People in the NHL have played with broken feet, dislocated shoulders, concussions and a basketball player can't play because of a thumb.

And hockey people are on skates. Wth argument is that.

You see any fat hockey players? No. Everyone can walk. Can everyone skate? No.

In my opinion, based on your weak arguments. No you do not understand fine.

Based on this sentence, you do not understand grammar.

A lot of your replies in the past few days are just ignorant and hateful

Oh no! I hurt someone's feelings!

Quote
I didn't post this topic so you can bag on basketball

The beauty of public forums; you can post whatever you want.

Or be ignored for being a hater

Don't hate the player, hate the game. It's a lot more fun this way.

You can talk to me like a normal person who can talk rationally and understand.

(adj) irrational (not consistent with or using reason) "irrational fears"; "irrational animals"

There is nothing irrational about my arguments.

Good day.

Blaise, DDD (mentos) loves to fight more than almost anyone here. He doesn't give a **** about your feelings and will be a pen0r to you if you give him a chance. You're better off just ignoring him if you don't wanna have a huge long drawn out argument, lol.

I wanna see Turbo and DDD and Ohio all go at it in a 3 way quote fest circle jerk. that would be epic lulz.  Cool

Start up a good topic and make sure 3 sides are available. I'll take whatever side, I'm sure I can muster up something.

Hate to break it to you but "classy" and "New York" are polar opposites.
