even for a standard def console it really is amazing to look back and see just how great graphics have come.  And I am most amazed by the increase in physics and body movement.  When Goldeneye originally came out I was blown away, now look at how it looks compared to what is out there today.  It is rare to get to see basically the exact same scenes from past games through the eyes of modern graphics (even if they are standard def).

Nice video lak.  Afro

Huh?  What weapons are different?  From what I saw, they were basically the same.  They just used the real weapon names in this version instead of fake names like the old one.

PD multiplayer > GE multi

PD's local multiplayer was so much better than Goldeneye's.  Roll Eyes

I loved how you could play against bots on Perfect Dark though.

yeah that would be fun when by yourself, but I would much rather play against a person.  I get no satisfaction by beating a bot, or seeing who can kill more bots rather than each other.

fighting a couple perfect or dark sims w/ your buddies was the shiznit. those things were so hard to kill even w/ a few friends helping. Perfect Dark had levels from goldeneye to play on multi too anyway. it had more guns and more options. PD was better.

The Vengeance bot was just awesome. It always sucked to kill it knowing you now had a bounty on your head.

yeah, I wasn't into co-op back then but competition between my friends and I.  And I think part of why I didn't like it was BECAUSE it had goldeneye levels and new guns.  It felt weak IMO to replay those levels on a different game, and I HATED some of the new weapons, especially the one that shot through walls.
