If I get it, it won't be until Christmas. On another note, anyone ever try one of these? http://www.speedblack.com/usa/start.html

it looked flimsy to me at first also, but I think having the weight and pressure from your feet and legs on the pedals platform would help make it not tip over

Try the wheelstand pro. I've heard really good things about it. Its a little bit more expensive then the other one, but lots of people over at f1 forums swear by it. I was thinking of picking one up for my dad this christmas

I want something that takes up less room. I'd also rather use the seats in my room- which is why I like the stand.
I've seen some reviews on that stand, and no one has had any issues with stability.

It looked like the speed black stand was just a music sheet stand with a flatter base. it looked really topheavy. Only the best of the reasonbly priced for jd

well honestly who wants to spend $100-$300 on something to hold there wheel and pedals when the wheel has already got a table ready clamp on it? If I was rich I probably wouldn't mind, but the cost of buying a good wheel and then if you invest in a good setup for it then your looking at $200-$400 , might as well just buy a new ps3 instead or go on craiglist and get a damn arcade

I know what you mean. My setup is no peach right now, I'm using one of these And an old leather armchair. It may not be the most stable but it beats anything else I could cobble up with at home. Gaming is expensive, man
