You can screw anyone over actually. If you are a cop and your team mate is chasing someone who is damaged and needs one more good hit, just make him fishtail or get in front of him and spike trip HIM then just take the racer out and get all the points.

Also I made a playlist with just System of a Down and have that playing while I race in single player career. It makes me lol when I pass first place and the song is saying, "my cocck is much bigger than yoooooooooours!".
I might get need for speed also because I keep seeing it for 39.99 everywhere and I really enjoyed the demo. Turd this is a good driving song

LOLOL!

That's bound to **** everyone off if you win that way. I was watching my brother play and he was the last racer and the cops were after him only he had a huge ass lead so he pulled a 180 and reversed the through the finish line. I lol'd.

Wow you'd think that a game that was in development for like 20 years would get a 9/10 and up (or a perfect 10/10), but so far i've seen 7/10 from GamesRadar, 4/5 stars (8/10) from Joystiq, and the best one is a 8.5/10 from ign. Not trying to start anything just pointing that out.

I guess only die-hard GT fans and people who REALLY love cars will love it the most.

I love how you say 8.5 was the highest

Racing fans, rejoice. Your new love is here. WoW for racing fans in both its depth and its presentation, there's no reason why anyone who loves cars, games, or both should miss GT5.

Kaz Yamauchi's passion for the racing sphere shines through every aspect of the game. The incredibly-detailed cars, the slick presentation, the spot-on physics. Polyphony Digital brought its A-game. Nothing else on the market can come close to the realism and immersion you feel throughout. Gran Turismo 5 is virtual racing at its very best.

The level of care taken by the people at Polyphony Digital shines in every aspect of this title, and this makes for a racing game that truly has no parallel. Gran Turismo 5 is a massive love letter to those that love cars. This is their dream videogame.

Gran Turismo 5 sets the bar high for the genre overall, and with its detailed approach to core mechanics and commitment to creating the best simulation in video games, it's easy to see why Gran Turismo is the gold standard in the automotive genre. Though some missteps were made with some of the modes, the game is a tight package that begs not only to be played, but obsessed over.

Despite some flaws we would like to see fixed, Gran Turismo 5 offers simulation and many hours of entertainment. Anyone who has enjoyed the series should buy the game; it is not only the number one driving game, but also more complete than previous entries. A machine ready to race.

Uncompromising in design and steeped in car loving snobbery, GT5 is a petrol head's dream. For gamers it's good, for car enthusiasts it's quite brilliant.

If there's a lesson to be learned from Gran Turismo 5 (the game itself, not its epic journey to stores), it's not about braking zones, exhaust manifolds, and curve apexes -- it's about patience. Because Gran Turismo 5 contains a seemingly unending supply of driving experience to enjoy, if you just allow yourself the time to discover it.

While GT5 could have done with more time, incredibly, to iron out a few of the kinks, there's so much quality on the track and so much to do off it that you'll easily forgive its shortcomings and revel in its successes -- of which there are many.

With this fifth full instalment in the series, Gran Turismo manages to hold onto its legacy of genre dominating driving sims, but only just. If and when Gran Turismo 6 arrives on the PS3, Polyphony Digital might have to look at bringing more innovation to the series if it wants to pull as far ahead of the chasing pack as it once was.

We've all been waiting what seems like forever for Gran Turismo 5, and now that it's here, I don't expect perfection, but tangible evidence that it was worth the wait. It is. I wasn't blown away by every aspect of the game, but overall it's easy to see the sheer amount of effort and craftsmanship that went into the game. This is a racing experience that racing fans should not miss.

There's no denying that GT5 is absolutely incredible, but due to its immense size and complexity, not all its facets are of the same standard, and as a result it's brilliant, but imperfect. For the most part it delivers a 5-star experience. But I do feel compelled to ding it half a star, simply because of the parts of the game that don't. That makes me feel horribly nitpicky and churlish, because despite my criticism I know I love GT5, and I'll be playing it for months, and maybe even years.

It's an off-kilter vision of the future, a cumbersome game with odd priorities, certainly. But it's equally a game that heads off in unexpected and exciting directions, makes a few notable improvements, and overflows with love – for cars, for games technology and for its own mad pursuit.

Clearly you guys must have missed those parts.  Roll Eyes Oh and some of those reviews you had said Playstation on them. That's like posting a Nintendo Power review of a Wii game and using that as a credible source. Of course they are going to review it very well. 1up, eurogamer, game informer, and gamepro are the most recognizable ones you posted.

Mex you say that but honestly every chance you get to slam the 360 or the ps3 it seems like you do, so i guess I just assumed you were starting chit, because I can say " listen I'm not trying to be an a55hole" and then say something mean to somebody, just because I said I'm not trying to be one doesn't cancel out me being an a55hole

I honestly wasn't. I'm not like some of you PS3 people who bash the Wii every time they get an opportunity. I know you never bash the Wii, but people like jd11, ownu, and turd (not always turdie calm down) do. But anyways whatever a review is only really an opinion so to you GT5 is a 10/10 and to some it may not be a 10/10. They have to play the game themselves to see how fun it is.

The end.

So what would you give this game? You have it right? Is it funner with the wheel or is a PS3 controller enough?

no I have not got it yet  Cry I want it but I feel it would be selfish to buy myself something this time of year before I get my Christmas shopping for others done first, I played gt5 prologue with both the wheel and the controller, and without even playing gt5 yet I will say with 100% certainty that the wheel is 100 times funner then the controller
