Depends how you look at it. Goldson is expensive, costly (fines for hits that also hurt the teams in penalties), and pribably a system back. He did well under Fangio's system, but may not do well somewhere else.

Talent wise though? It's not even close. The Niners have some cap issues so I understand why they can't sign Goldson but that's a pretty big lose. Also, Kam Chancellor is excited to have Boldin in the NFC West.
