48-22, 8 dogtags, and four plants with that thing. It's humping amazing.
But, I was wondering if I should go with the slugs. Right now, I'm not and I'm doing fine, but I hear you can practically snipe with the slugs. Then again, I'm not really wanting to "snipe" in that sense. I love running around and getting dogtags. :>
What do?

Dead Camper seems to be the one to ask, but I'll chime in since I just got a platty with it the other day I go with both, depending in the map. Some games one works better for me than the other (LT says I'm nuts) but seriously I've had games where slugs are spot on, then it switches maps or starts a new game and slugs don't hit anybody. Slugs are just fine for close up too, as long as you don't miss, they'll put a hole in someone from close up, but of course no spread. If you do go with slugs, put mag ammo. In Oasis, I've been messing around with engineer, shotgun, extra explosives and explosive perk. It's pretty effective since the humvees are easy targets.

You're all crazy!
I can't do **** with the slugs. Frankly, I hate using them and run around with buckshot because when I equip the shotties, I get into close quarter mode. I don't even consider long range as an option. If I'm in a firefight at anything other than close range (within feet of my target) I'm pretty fauked.
What I'm in love with right now is sniping. So far my favorite is the M24 with 4x zoom. Great to get in close (1 shot kill) and still keep your long range sniping abilities in tact providing you have an enemy highlighted of course.
Anyway, yeah do what crazy, old man Hound GreyHound does and run both depending on the map.

K so I'll just alternate depending on what the situation calls for. I really like the spread that the buckshot gives, but I get raped sometimes from medium distance because I can't switch to my pistol fast enough.

Sniping with slugs is the shiznat. Up close, use the buckshot. IMO, of course.

I hate buckshot, so I'd say slugs. I don't like using a close-range exclusive weapon especially considering slugs are better at close range provided you can aim.
and all three pumps with slugs are equally good, though I never got around to platting the SPAS.

I'm using the SPAS right now. Slugs are kind of funny close range, like you said if you can aim. Just the other day, some guy tried to hide behind a fence, lol. He was about 10 (virtual) feet away and tried to take cover. It was basically like I got him with the C. Gustav, the whole fence exploded.

I won't use the NS2000 because it's ugly. And because: NEOSTEAD 2000 Combat Kills: 1 Hits: 2 Shots: 2 Accuracy: 100.00 % T-shirt cannon of doom!

I've been running it with the slugs, and it's a helluva lot better than the buckshot. Just took a little getting used to. But I do enjoy sniping snipers with a shotgun. Nothing is more satisfying.
Val, the Neostead is special in its own way. It doesn't need to be pretty when it can lolwtfpwn the other team.

slugs claim another thank god you got into them after the nerf, I was so heart-broken by R10 that I up and stopped using slugs for a couple weeks and had to re-think my play style with them >_> I'm using them again now though. Got the 870 into my top 3 (actual guns, not Gustav) and I'm still on the fence as to whether or not the SPAS is worth finishing. Though after the M1 anything seems like it'll be fun.

Yeah, I know. I'm sure it has a "great personality". I've heard that before.
