well I don't mind mp44. Not sure why it needs double tap though. rate of fire is 600 and AK is 700. not a huge difference to waste perk 2 on when it only does 40-30 damage and NEEDS stopping power. My only gripe with mp44 is that it has no attachments. I really rely on silencer in my playing style and it sucks that there is not silencer. I mean, seriously, why leave off the attachments for just that gun?

becuase there wasnt attachments for it , but the rate of fire isnt consistent it starts slow gains rate and before the last 7 rounds it loses the rate again. double tap makes it maitain a constant rate of fire

I'll stick with stopping power. The difference between killing in 2 shots instead of 3 far outweighs any rate of fire issues. becuase there wasnt attachments for it You can make attachments for any gun. I have done quite a bit of gunsmithing and know that adding mounts for a red dot scope is nothing. And if the AK-47 can get a silencer with it's gas discharge system that makes it very difficult (heck on "Sons of Guns" they managed to make a built-in silencer on an AK-47 which was previously thought impossible), then a silencer can be fitted to the mp44. Lastly, the noobtubes are basically fictional as applied to this game anyway and none of these guns really has that exact attachment in real life. So fitting the mp44 with these attachments is no different than putting them on these other assault rifles.

i guess my thinking is that this is "modern warfare". There is no reason why they couldn't put an attachment on the mp44. In fact, the AK-47 was designed during world war II and was in service by 1949 while the MP44 was designed in 1942. So I'm not sure why the fact that attachments not being around for the MP44 is a big deal since the AK-47 is from the same era and they put attachments on it.

I'm sure that they didn't want to add attachments to it because it was the last weapon you unlock?

'Tis a video game. which makes it that much more annoying. every other gun in the entire game came with attachments except the mp44. it simply makes no sense that they would choose to leave out a single gun for no reason when in a video game they could easily have done it consistently. BTW, update, I am now just about done with mp44 (maybe a few days left) to get my gold ak-47. And while the mp44 has very erratic fire rates and recoil, I actually score quite well with it (in two games this morning I went 44-3 and 41-7) and I get quite a few headshots as well. Also, just an aside, I randomly picked up a .50 cal today off the ground and turned around to find two enemies and got a collateral with a no scope to get the very last of my Elite challenges this prestige (haven't done the sniper challenges yet). So that was pretty cool.

I've gotten the two kill streak in mid-air, I've knifed a guy in mid-air, but no collateral. I'll have to give it a shot.
