3D is okay as long as you watch it on a big ass theater screen like IMAX.
But yeah, a PS3 would be your best bet for having Netflix and playing bluray movies in your bedroom all naked and stuff.

I'd just get a ps3, because for those so called wifi bluray players that have built in netflix apps, what they don't tell you is you have to buy a wifi dopple also which will bring the total cost around the price of the $250 ps3 , thats if you buy a decent bluray player

The blu-ray I got last year was Wi-Fi on-board. They still sell this type, but they're getting hard to find.
The kind you're talking about is Wi-Fi ready. You have to buy some kind of USB wireless device or something. But you're right, it jacks up the price.
I'll probably get the PS3 for the fam room and move the blu-ray into my bedroom. I don't need a vid game console in the bedroom lol.

You guys do realize that Netflix ends their contract with stars in Feb 2012 right? Which means all the good "newer release" movies like Toy Story 3 won't be there anymore.

One of my favorite movies is up on Netflix: Howl's Moving Castle. Yes, it is anime... however, it is really good. It is in English dubs, as well. I seriously recommend to watch this... especially with kids.

You should watch Eden of the East on there, its like 11 eps and dubbed(though I'm not sure if the dub is acceptable or not), it won a few awards for screenplay and animation at some Jap film festivals. Also idk if the movies are on there but I have them and can stream em for you if you want more closure than the series provides

i actually just saw two good movies on netflix yesterday, surprisingly. the first one was neo ned (about a neo nazi falling in love with a black lady), and the second one was kung pow, a hilarious spoof of kung fu movies.
