I'm one of those people that has always played the Wii because I like the controls.  Killzone 3 has me tempted to buy a ps3 because of the move compatibility.  Just wondering who uses the move on this game and whether it's comparable to playing with the wiimote.
I have heard that most people still use the analog stick and that if you use the move you will get owned.
Any opinions?

There are about 4 FOX guys with it and it irks them that they constantly have to calibrate in game. If you can catch them at the chatbox go ahead and probe. Wink

i was really curious about this as well...
Although i HATED playing with the little joysticks at first, I find it easier to play when baybe is around, which is a plus...Unless she standing in front of the TV, she doenst hinder me as much when playing...

Move = Dumb.  Here's why:

they constantly have to calibrate in game.

Everytime you turn Move on, you have to set it up, unlike Wii where you're ready to go everytime..  Plus the HUGE ass ball on the top just looks fawking retarded.

Answer:  Analog > All.  Here's why:

Unless she standing in front of the TV, she doenst hinder me as much when playing...

The sun can get in your way while playing. I had to buy blinds/something to block my window of any light.  So playing in total darkness was fun...?  If you go out of town and take your Wii it's hard to find a setup that works.  Where as Analog you can take anywhere and play comfortably.

The move works great with this game, and you don't have to calibrate the controller every game.  You only have to calibrate once for each time you start up KZ3 or when you turn on the move.  You don't get raped, I use it with the worst class in the game (medic) and still have a KDR above one.

Guy at work said if you want to use the move to get a shooter (gun) controller.  I never could use the Wii one worth a crap, but I guess there's all kinds of versions for the move.

I kinda liked this one:

I have the MOVE set...but for KZ3 I still like the DS3 controller...KZ3 left out the ability to re-map the buttons to the MOVE the way you'd want them...I really hate the thrust motion for knifing...rather have it as a button press...SOCOM is using MOVE controls too...but haven't heard of anyone who's tried it out yet...

If MOVE is only reason you'd consider PS3 upgrade...then I'd probably think about it some more...MOVE still has some growing to do....and the MOVE compatible game library is really limited....I expect some better titles to come out at some point but for now I still prefer the std controller....and I was a HC Wii gamer since 2007 till about 1 year ago...

First off, all of the reviews I heard about the Move guns said it was terrible.  Secondly, LOL at the idiot in there because Black Ops is NOT move compatible.

I played all the way through the campaign on KZ3 using the Move and it was a blast.  Wink

I think the Move works much better than the WiiMote. It's much more responsive and smooth. I never had a problem with lighting (dark or bright) or the controller getting lost by the PS3 or anything. Calibration on game start up is a non-issue. I would like to have been able to remap the buttons though. The one thing I really like about the Move is that even when someone gets in the way of the camera, it doesn't go completely ape **** like the WiiMote did. As soon as it sees the controller again your right back in the game whereas the Wii cursor would get lost and go all over the place.

I also played the Socom 4 demo using move and it worked fine as well.

Resistance 3 will be Move compatible when it releases so check that game out too.

I would suggest getting the Move to anyone who liked playing with a motion controller on Wii. It works better and you get a ton of extra stuff when you own a PS3 (movies, music, blu-ray, media server, etc...).

Hit me up if you get a PS3 and let me know if you need any help setting things up.

I'd expect you to have such experience holding such a round, long rod with a kechua ball on the end.

Same.  The MOVE gun is like the Wii Zapper.   When you're using a sniper with the Wii Zapper you can't move side to side while zoomed in MoH.  I'm sure MOVE is the same.  It limits what you can do....  And It's supposed to be better..
