This is a bunch of horse crap.  I'm alright with a one on one...one gets knocked on his ass...the other picks him up and they hit a bar afterward. But this deserves a different treatment than jail. -_-

yeah this happens, and is gonna happen again...

But you know the guy who got his ass beat was prolly asking for it...

I went to a SPURS/NUGGETS playoff game in '03 all decked out in my Spurs gear, and I almost got mobbed by nuggets fans after the Spurs beat em in double overtime...
I was definatly asking for it, and I had to wait to leave...It got REAl sour at the end...

The Giants fan was asking for it in my oppinion...

Yup.

*guy spends $120 on a jersey of his favorite team*

*guy spends $30 on a hat of his favorite team*

*guy spends $"x" on a ticket to see his favorite team play in a legendary staduim.*

*guy's team wins*

*guy walks to his car and winds up in a coma*

Yeah, he was asking for it alright.   Roll Eyes

Just because he was wearing his team's clothes doesn't mean he was asking for it.

Look, I know there are crap talkers out there and all, but there are no reports of this guy trash talking to the Dodgers fans.  I'm almost positive if he were, there would have been reports from OTHER fans sitting close to him while the game was going on that he was instigating, ESPECIALLY since it was an opposing team's fan.  It wouldn't justify the attaker's offense, but at least some would understand why, but in this case it's not so.  For that reason I'm going to assume that these punk ass cholos ("Bald headed") were just trying to act hard to make themselves feel hard, otherwise I doubt it would have ended up the way it did.

Even if the dude was trash talking, it's part of the game.

Rivalries and even fighting are a part of the game, but attempted murder is not.

Totally agree, it shouldn't have happened.

Attempted Murder?...
whoa, whoa, whoa---from what I hear, the guy got hit in the back of the head, unfortunate, but not attemted murder...

If you hit your chest in the exactwrong place at the exact wrong tme, you could die of a heart attack...

until ESPN says otheriwse, I'm assuming this guy said at least something to the Dodger Fans...And even if he didnt, HE WAS WEARING THE OTHER TEAMS SHEIT...
There are numerous youtube videos of opposing fans getting thier ass beat at the game...
Like I said, this guy UNFORTUNATLY got hit on the back of the head...

It is very sad that this happened...I'm just playing BOTH sides here...I am in NO way trying to justify this, just saying that the guy COULD have avoided it...

U think I would wear a SPURS jersey to a Laker game? Roll Eyes...especially the way I act at games Angry

Dude, read the article. He got hit in the back of the head, fell down (now defensless) and they repeatedky kicked him. Again, I'm ok with a sock followed by a guy falling down, but 3 guys kicking him WHILE HES DEFENSLESS is attempted murder if not assault and battery. In this case a prosecutor would say attempted murder for what followed after he fell down.
