games graphics, at this point, really can't get much better. they look like real life, to be honest. the only way to make them better would be to make them live action, which wouldn't really work. graphics have pretty much peaked. so if the wii u is better than the ps3, then it'll be the best out there. graphics can't get much better than what they are now, so i'm not worried about the graphics. This has got to be one of the most ignorant things I've ever seen. Do you not realize how far advanced we are in human history today compared even to as soon as 10/20/30 years ago? I bet some poor sap back in the 80's said cassette was the best out there for music because vinyl became obsolete, and that there would be no need to advance further because it sounded great,. But alas, CD came along and viola, quality changed yet again. Now there is blueray technology, and more. We are constantly progressing, so thinking that we've peaked and cant go any further is absurd.

We only have one hd tv and it's one of the 2007 models. It's a 64 inch tv I think so that's where I see all my bluray stuff.
I'll definitely need an hd tv in my room once the new Nintendo console comes out.
Only you, Mex, would get a new HDTV because nintendo is going to have an HD console. lol lol well I'll need one since the Wii U will look crappy with my standard tv

Turkey, I have to disagree with you. People thought that when the 360/PS3 came out with their best graphics, that would be the best there is. Now look at how far the PC has passed both of them in a short time frame of around three years. You think it's great already, but like K said, so did people back in the 80's. You don't know what they're going to introduce next.

The highest I could possibly see them being able to go now is probably up to where PCs are now. The Wii U will look fine on my standard TV but I do need to get a new TV since it has been messed up for years.

Actually... I can see the reading devices we play games off of.. going to 3D storage and the processors reading in 3D, along with a legit 3D hologram (not the 2.5D images we call 3D atm). dude.. Imagine how much faster everything will be once they start making 3D storage/writing efficient.. If anything else the space needed to store data would drop immensely...

Actually, video games do not look like real life but don't be fooled, there is a peak for graphics because of our eyes. It will get to the point where it's so many pixels that our eyes won't be able to tell the difference between something that's 500 pixels more or less than something else.

This post translates to this: But I've heard of that 3D storage thing before. Wouldn't that cost a lot to implement into a console currently? Though I know you mean in the future. Isn't the craze in storage right now that "cloud" thing that OnLive uses?
