http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=133094

I've gone batty; I've modded 11 of those cars so far.

RM doesn't seem to give too much to the engine as far as upgrades, it's mostly suspension, transmition, weight and body kits. I've listed things I've done no top of RM

Acura NSX all exhaust and intake upgrades possible, racing hard tires, ECU chip, Stage 1 engine
Honda Civic Type R sports soft tires
Lexus IS F racing medium tires
Mitsubishi Lancer
Suzuki Cappuccinosports soft tires, enine 1 and 2 upgrades, ECU chip
Camaro SS '10
TVR Tuscan 6 sports soft tires
VW Golf IV sports soft tires
Lotus Elise '96 racing hard tires, all exhaust upgrades, ECU chip
Integra Type R racing hard tires
Civic Type R

As of right now, the Lexus, Elise, and the Cappuccino are the most useful and fun to drive; that's why I've given them some upgrades but I'm trying not to ruin the ride.  I'm working on the NSX because it seems to "want" to go faster, and allow major badassness.
The Lexus handles almost perfectly and has really good power.
The Cappuccino also handles almost perfectly but, tops out at about 78 mph, so it's not fast but great for those lightweight events.
The Lotus Elise '96 is sweet, maybe the most fun of them all.
The Camaro is pretty badass the way it came.
I'll probably spend the next chunk of my earnings on the remaining RM cars.  I actually already owned the Suzuki, Mitsu, and Honda so no purchase necessary.

Most of them have a problem with understeer and I'm not good at tuning so if someone wants to chime in, please do.

Oh, and I've been testing these cars on the Supercar Seasonal event.  Since there is no limit/restrictions on the requirements any car can enter.  The final race, the Eifel Circuit only takes 5-6 minutes to complete and winning gets $163k and last still gets 35k so its the biggest payoff out there.
I just won the race with the 2010 Camaro SS RM

gt5-tuning.com

start with the tune that has the best rating buy the community and then tweek the tune from there. it's a great way to get the cars tuned well quickly and hasn't let me down yet.

I love the RM cars. I just wish they would start adding more RM's to the game as DLC cuz IMO there should be an RM for every good premium model car in the game.

my favorites are the old Camaro and the Elise. I have two elise's though cuz I still like my blacked out elise without the RM and all the cool body kits stuff you can add. it looks so sick when fully kitted... better than the RM IMO.

yeah, I'm not necessarily a fan of all the RM looks on every car; especially the lotus.  I think I have 4 different lotus's in my garage and like you I think they look way better without the mods.  The 2010 Camaro is pretty awesome with the mods, and maybe my favorite after the mods as far as appearance is the Acura NSX.

If you really want to send me a car, I still need the '69 Camaro to RM and the 'Vettes

I need the '69 Camaro and the '06 vette.  I just bought the '09 Vette and RM'd it and it's pretty sweet.  As much as I like the ricers, the '10 Camaro and the '09 Vette are amazing to drive when RM'd.

The '07 Lexus IS is crazy, 715HP! very good to drive too
