Bio: The way SBC approaches combat may be seen by some to be cowardly or dishonorable, but in reality SBC deals strictly with what is practical.  After all, the best way to not be impaled by a broadsword is to be out of its reach entirely.

Instead of meeting her foes head-on, SBC prefers to use a bow and arrows to fell her enemies from a (safe) distance.  For those occasions lacking a sufficiently large battlefield, SBC uses her knowledge of the magic arts to cloak herself in shadow and flanks her targets, quietly slitting the throats of the men in the back of enemy lines with her silver dagger.  Should the situation become too hostile for a lightly armored warrior such as herself, she will flee from the battlefield and live to fight another day.  After all, a dead warrior is no use to anyone.

Did they lower the quality of everything since everyone is going to have it, or is it always like this? A few tiny discounts on map packs for games I don't even have, three free avatars. The only thing I'm actually using is the Anomalies theme, which is pretty awesome. I might use the lbp avatar eventually..

they have some good deals on there from time to time, and the if you enjoy lots of different games and also own a PSP there's lots of minis and PS1 games they give out on the regular.

i also scooped up the SNK and Japanese psx imports at the discount rate.

avatars, themes, i think these all stay after your subscription lapses...  same with the DLC (not 100%).

and since i travel back and forth between multiple PS3s (brother, friends), it's convenient having cloud saves. the auto update is handy as well ( i still think this should be standard).

paid 50 for 15 months, plus an extra month from the outage = 16 months.

so a little over 3 a month.... do i feel i get my money's worth? yes, yes i do.

deleted and retyped to add: and although i'd never subscribe to it on it's own, i actually enjoy the QORE magazine too...

It's good for free video content, small games, free maps, avatars, etc...

If you don't normally spend money on the PS store, then you won't see the value in the discounts.

You have to really dig around in the store to find all the free stuff that may interest you. You're not going to get a bunch of free AAA titles if that's what you were expecting.
