I always thought retroactively vacating wins/accomplishments was pointless. They can say what the want in an official record book, but everybody in the country will remember the actual games. It's like the Buckeyes 2000 final four run in basketball. They can vacate it because the coach was a douche, but I will always remember the thrill of that tournament run. You can say there was no heisman winner in 2005, but everyone will always know Reggie Bush won.
So I don't get too worked up over this. I can accept that violations occurred. I just hope people aren't naive enough to think this is where it stopped. EVERY single program in major college football is dirty. I guarantee it. I have come to accept it and so have most fans. It is just the media who seem to think all this is a big story.
