lakk, I actually meant "developer progression"
I.e. a developer will incorporate a certain feature of a game that's innovative. The game is successful as result of that innovation.
The next developer of a same styles game takes that same innovative concept and makes it better or more versatile thus raising the bar for the next game and developers.
Take Call of Dookie for example. In MW1 there were certain perks. In WaW there were "different" perks. In MW2 there were "even batter" perks than the others, and so on. The respective systems OS hasn't changed, just the features incorporated by the game's developers have.
And the engine used to make the games. Exactly. I think BC1 used frostbite 1 and BC2 used frostbite 1.5 and now BF3 is getting frostbite 2 engine.

We live in the internet age where information is at our fingertips in abundance. If someone cares to prove me wrong im all for it and will admit to being wrong.

How to Gameshare? Map packs are complete bull. I'm sure most of them are ready from launch. It doesn't take 4 months to take a little area from the campaign and add some fences and respawns to it. I can understand trying to keep the game alive, but they could at least make them cheap (like Brotherhood where they're free). The bad thing is it's spreading to every game out there. Halo 3 had maybe 3 map packs in its entire existence, and they released them far apart with plenty of maps and vehicles. Now Reach has already had 3 and they're almost all crap that was taken straight from the campaign. If only all gamers could arrange a boycott until they release them for free/cheaper.. But that will never happen. no **** man. i think its bull**** that they all cost $15 & you only get like 4 maps. i remember when the first $15 pack came out & everyone was up in arms about it. now its the norm. people pay whatever activision asks apparently. theres too many issues with cod on ps3. activision is obviously biased toward xbox. they get a better performing/looking game and all map packs 1 month ahead yet they ask for the same price. whatever though. i dont even really like cod besides the campaign story. its the only thing im looking forward to in mw3. i wanna know what happens with price & soap. im renting it though. no way am i getting this over bf3 Microsoft made a deal with Activision a while ago concerning the CoD franchise. And in return they increased their "Fee" to play online from $50 to $60 a year. I sure wouldn't want to pay nearly that much just to play online. As far as the 360 getting the better graphics, that is just the developers being lazy. yea i pretty much figured the game was made for xbox anyway. the last sentence is more to my point. i know its a bit tougher to code for ps3 but these developers have crossed this bridge before. as far as i know, in terms of power its pc, ps3 and xbox being the weakest. i couldnt figure out how xbox gets a better looking and performing game when its the weakest. your point of them being lazy is spot on. again, i dont really like cod but this sort of thing happens in most crossplatform games so its still noteworthy. why would we pay full price for a lazy effort?
