As WT prepares for combat, we have been investigating the ruleset, trying to figure out what would promote the most fair, enjoyable, competitive play for clans/squads.


The big debate remaining is whether or not we will accept regular TDM wars.  **** is the way to go, but I am not ruling out the possibility that we won't accept a regular TDM war.  They both have their own strategies and benefits.


1.  Kill Streak ON
2.  Radar OFF
3.  Noob cannon, aka, Rifle Grenade, limit 1 per team, or BANNED.  Prefer it to be banned
4.  Spawn Time = 5 Seconds
5.  Teams may switch players in between maps, as long as the player is listed on the team's roster
6.  All stages are OK, but may not be played more than once per war


I will give an explanation for whatever rules you may have a concern for. 

I am pretty sure we will be having both **** and regular TDM matches... just depends on the challenges we get.

We are going to have 2 squads of 6 players.  Each will have their own position on the ladder.  The players will rotate based on who we are playing, along with the maps. 

Team 1:  Wii Troopers
Team 2:  Wii Troopers F  [wtf]

Both teams are on gamebattles.

i agree with you some there. Streaks is debatable but other than that i do like it. i also like the 5 secound spawn time

If you want killstreak on i'd suggest it only being for the normal TDMs at least...

Oh and like the flamethrowers power is heavily reduced by fireproof i'm imagining flak jacket will have the same effect against rifle nades so i'm not sure it's plausible to ban/limit them.

Rifle grenades shouldn't be banned. Cry more, use them yourself or shoot moar. Seriously, they're not that hard to counter on any version.


And Flak Jacket reduces explosive damage so you can't be killed by any explosive in one hit except the tank's main cannon (IIRC).

Looks similar to BC Fox Squad's rule set, except we place no restrictions on any weapons and we prefer wave spawning at a slightly longer period.  We also play almost exclusively in **** and dogs in **** is fine.  We've developed effective counters.

Remove perk 1s.


Bettys are a lot more overpowered, overused and easier to use than Rifle Grenades.

Remove perk 1s.


Bettys are a lot more overpowered, overused and easier to use than Rifle Grenades.

For perk 1 I use bomb squad and act as the team mine sweeper.

That requires the use of Teamspeak, disallowed by GB rules IIRC.


And besides, you can spot the Bettys, hooray. What then? They hardly ever explode when shot due to Wii lag and the only way you can survive is with Flak Jacket. But if they use the pincer set-up (requires both Bettys...only noobs do this) you'll die even with Flak Jacket enabled.

How does shooting targets that stay still have anything to do with lag? I blow them up just fine. Not to mention you can just run near them then back and live. Or the option of just going around them. Or saving your grenade to blow them up?

If you're going to ban the most-stupid thing ever, get rid of the really broken thing. Again, another scrub who never played 4. You can avoid Claymores, you can't avoid, spot or survive Bettys. Clays were effective, and encouraged proper placement. Here, you just put a Betty underwater near the covered sniper tower on Makin and behind the barrel on the dock and you're guaranteed 2 kills a death.

Sometimes things lag really bad in the Wii. I've stood still firing a G43 at a Betty and they finally explode after the third, sometimes 5th shot, despite me having it in the center of the Aperture. Run near them and live? Wat? I've had them blow up AROUND cover and still kill me in the Wii version. That strategy is stupid because it requires knowledge of their placement and very rarely works, even in the 360 version (the better, lagless, An-knows-what-he's-talking-about-so-stfu-scrub version). Even with the grenades, in lag they might not go off. Congrats, you wasted your primary. WOOO

Even in the 360 the splash risks killing teammates or yourself. Few people place Bettys intelligently in the Wii version, most leave them at their ass so they're easy to avoid. In the 360, people hole themselves up in towers with them behind stair cases, so frag-detonation is unlikely, as well as attempting to trigger-and-avoid them.


Rifle grenade, lowest explosive blast radius in the game other than the Bouncing Betty or the Molotov Cocktail. Play the beta if you want an idea of a mildy overpowered attachment, really. Lowest kill speed, and has to be primed when you switch to it. Everyone uses automatic weapons on the Wii version so claiming they never die/have hits register is asinine. lrn2bebetter.
