most critics judge by how good it was at the time, when in reality no one except older people like the old games.

I'm 19 and consider LttP and Legend of Zelda to be two of the best games.  Is 19 old?  D:

woahwoahwoah, i need to modify that, but then you'd lose the point i'm trying to make. i like all the games, alot too. i just don't like some as much as others. lttp is a great game, along with loz, but they just don't seem to be to the standard of the other games in my opinion. not that i didn't like the games.

I'd say that LttP's Dark World was the inspiration for TP's Twilight Realm.  And I loved the Twilight Realm.  Wish we could have seen more of it.

And I haven't gotten SS yet.  :(

I can understand/relate. Im older, and obviously I get stronger nostalgia from a game out of my youth rather than a more current one (except MoH). You probably played the newer ones before the older ones or it could just be that the newer graphics/capabilities are a standard for the younger generation of gamers therefore you'd prefer a modern one over an older one.

Im pretty sure that we're all in agreeance that II was subpart though.

I think if they did it now, with better controls and environment/enemy/player actions and reactions, that it could be an awesome game.

Agreed. I didn't enjoy playing as Wolf Link as much as regular Link but he was definitely cool. I thought the Dark World was a good idea... things looking one way and once you switch, a boulder blocking a path was suddenly gone or something. Tongue
