So I was just curious, what has been your favorite sniper rifle in any of the CoD's? I would've put this in a CoD board but it includes all of them so I put it here. I also could've made a poll but there are far too many snipers... there would be like 20 options.
Sadly, I never have played CoD 4 online so I won't pick a sniper from there. In WaW, I used and liked the Springfield, partly because of it's usage in MoHH2 but also that is was pretty good. In MW2, I use and like all the snipers but my favorite is the Intervention... though I've been using the Barrett .50cal of late. In Black Ops, I don't snipe too often but the L96A1 is my favorite. PSG1 is alright too. What about you? O:
Edit: I've played CoD 4 now and I guess the M40A3 though I like the R700 as well. M21 and Dragunov were just frustrating.

After all, the best way to not be impaled by a broadsword is to be out of its reach entirely. Instead of meeting her foes head-on, SBC prefers to use a bow and arrows to fell her enemies from a (safe) distance. For those occasions lacking a sufficiently large battlefield, SBC uses her knowledge of the magic arts to cloak herself in shadow and flanks her targets, quietly slitting the throats of the men in the back of enemy lines with her silver dagger. Should the situation become too hostile for a lightly armored warrior such as herself, she will flee from the battlefield and live to fight another day. After all, a dead warrior is no use to anyone.

Never played WaW, mwr dragonuv acog, mw2 .50 cal acog and silencer (worked for me), black ops all except the psg-1 the more I used it the less I liked it.

Not really. You just need to practice aiming. Aim-wise, snipers take the most skill because you may only get one or two chances and you're dead. I started playing FFA and 90% of matches I win using a Barrett .50cal with a 3.00+ KDR. I don't even quick-scope that much, I just make sure my shots hit. It's frustrating at first, but if you get good at it, it's fun.

Was that a semi-automatic, or bolt-action? I rarely remember WaW snipers.

Those hacks are often seen on the WaW servers. That's why I don't play it online anymore.

I've always appreciated WWII weapons the most... maybe has to do with MoHH2 being my first FPS and being attached with the weapons. I've also always liked Bolt-Actions because they take skill, among other Assault Rifles. You can't spam a bolt-action rifle. (scoped or not)
