Will do. Though, I'm in a new dorm now with fewer people in it, so the connection probably will be better overall. Though, it should do much better with ethernet since most everyone is using the wireless network. I may be the only person on my hall who knows what "ethernet" is.

Honestly, I used ethernet for MoH for over 2 years and swore that lag wasn't an issue. After I switched to wireless, I did notice a change in my game.

i think i get decent connection from our router to my ps3 but i know it can be better. i took my ps3 & hooked it up to the router with a 6 footer and downloaded things in just a few minutes. i want to know if viable with a 30' line though. im a bit far from my router

you know the ps3 has a speed test under internet setting. as for accuracy of the test I don't know. another thing, a 30' line might cause some drop in bandwidth. someone more technical could probably answer; just one of those things about data and wired distance.

You shouldn't have any issues with 30'. The maximum cable length for a Cat 5e/6/7 system is often reported to be between 90-100m.

So my controller needs recharging, but I can't find my ****ing charger cord anywhere. I have looked literally everywhere in this damn room and it's not in here. Someone threw it away or took it or something, and it ****ing pisses me off.

Thanks. I'll play tonight until the controller dies, but for now I'm going to stay off the PS3 in hopes that it holds a decent charge.

It doesn't necessarily have to be a ps3 charging cord. I use my wife's mp3 USB charger sometimes to charge it.
