My first year I ever have done this, and I must say I messed up twice during the draft by not looking at the bye weeks and realizing two of my d's and te's had the same bye week so it made me have to waist 2 more picks on those positions

Drew Brees
Peyton Hillis
Beanie Wells
Mark Ingram
Greg Jennings
Percy Harvin
Jermichael Finley
Chargers
Nate Kaeding

Packers
John Kasay
Joe Flacco
Malcom Floyd
Kellen Winslow
Jets
Michael Crabtree
Chris Cooley

3rd year of a dynasty league where we keep all our players from year to year so I've built up a pretty solid team. The draft being 3 years ago got me a few guys like Jamaal Charles, Kenny Britt, Matt Ryan and Vincent Jackson for dirt cheap. 6 points per passing TD instead of the standard 4, other categories are pretty standard.

QB Tom Brady
WR Larry Fitzgerald
WR Roddy White
WR Vincent Jackson
RB Jamaal Charles
RB Maurice Jones-Drew
TE Jason Witten
W/R Steven Jackson
W/R/TE Wes Welker

Bench:

WR Reggie Wayne (Total waste now)
WR Kenny Britt
RB Jonathan Stewart
RB Marshawn Lynch
WR Mike Williams (SEA)
TE Brandon Pettigrew
WR Julio Jones
WR Michael Crabtree
QB Matt Ryan

K Mason Crosby

DEF Green Bay Packers

Finished second last season losing by 1.3 points in finals.  Angry

Love Finley has the TE. Rodgers looks for him 10 times before he makes his second read. Problem is, Jennings with Finley in the lineup isn't worth the price tag. Harvin looks like a solid play with McNabb. We all saw what McNabb did with Desean. Also love the Beanie Wells pick. With Williams on IR, Wells looks in line for a big season.

Forgot to mention mine was a 10 team league. What about you guys?

Little thin on RB K. Trusting Jones to stay healthy is tough and Murray seems to be the goal line back. I also wouldn't advocate starting Branch. Welker is the only Patriots WR I trust. Who knows how the ball distribution will be this season with so many weapons. Taylor Price is the most talented of the bunch in NE but he won't get the snaps early on. You have two wicked QB's so I'd probably try and move Brees for a RB. Matt Ryan is going to come out chucking, as evident by his 42 pass attempts in one half of a preseason game, so he could easily out perform his ADP. Also might try and move Jennings. This goes for Dave as well. He is extremely talented but Finley gets so many looks.

Last season:

Jennings with Finley in the lineup: 7.7 PPG

Jennings with Finley injured: 14.7 PPG

I'm not saying Jennings will be a total bust, but I bet you could get great value for him.

I was thinking of starting boldin but he's going against Pitt and I doubt it will fare well. I don't know how to operate a FF team.  Embarrassed

I'd start Boldin over Branch. Ray Rice is useless against the Steelers in the career which basically means they will have to rely on Flacco's arm. With Mason and Heap gone, Boldin has to be the go to guy. He will gets his looks.

Love Bradford. He will be the starter for you by seasons end. McDaniels is a genius as on offensive coordinator. Good running backs for a 12 team league, especially with .5 PPR. Little iffy on the WR's. Sidney Rice is talented, but Tavaris Jackson is not. Steve Smith with Newton at the helms is a little scary. It's hard to trust a rookie QB. Vincent Jackson is in for a big year however. Love Finley too.

Brady is the best fantasy QB in the league right now. All the talk is about Vick and Rodgers, but Brady is as good as it gets. Not too sure about the RB choices for a PPR league. Turner has stone hands and Jackson had one good catching season in 2006 that inflated his PPR value. Marshall is a good pick, Mike Williams I am not sure of. He has the talent, but Freeman is streaky.

Yeah, the 10 person league had a lot of fantasy veterans in it as you can tell by my runningbacks. I know Turner can't catch worth a shit but by the time I needed a second runningback he was the best I could get. I got Steven Jackson because Ray Rice (who went the pick right before I got Tom Brady, I was originally going to get Rice), Adrian Peterson (always first pick), Chris Johnson,  and Jamaal Charles were already off the board. I didn't think Arian Foster would have a good year and I just rather have Brady than Jones-Drew. Jones-Drew will carry Jacksonville this year so that was probably a bad decision but only time will tell.

You take Brady in the first? That's a pretty big reach.

Yeah lol, if I didn't take him then I wouldn't have gotten him. Aaron Rodgers went 9th, Vick went 12th I think and Rivers went like 15th. It was either him, MDJ, or Arian Foster. The runningback depth is horrible this year which I soon realized and strategized a little differently in my Book of Eli team draft. I got Eli in the 6th and Bradford in the 8th I think.

I probably wouldn't be the guy to draft Brady this season, as much as I like him. That price tag is up there. Matt Ryan and Bradford seem to be the best bang for you buck QB picks.
