Oh okay.

Prepare to get owned a bunch.  Make sure you play with us, or you'll probably hate the game.

I thought the campaign was alright...story kinda eh...but u get to work with the different gun types, sniper, launchers...plus there's some shorter vehicle sequences...manning the mounted guns, chopper gunner, boat driver...some of the map were cool too...

Yeah? Oh well. I wasn't really expecting much anyway.

Pshht don't worry about that. I despise cod's 'tactics'. I want a team-based game soooo bad. I'll probably play mostly medic for a while.

If I had to recommend a starter way to play I would say to move slow, look at your surroundings, test out as many weapons as you can until you get a feel for which would suit you well, stay tentatively near the ones on your map with bright green triangles (these are your squad mates), and don't rush objectives.

When shooting from mid/long range ADS shoot and in bursts.  When CQC hipfire.  Before you enter rooms with people in it toss a nade in before you go guns blazing.  Listen to the surrounding noises and voices.  Sometimes you can hear enemy people nearby although you may not be able to se them.  Um, I don't know much else at this time.  Undecided

Don't start out on rush.

Instead of meeting her foes head-on, SBC prefers to use a bow and arrows to fell her enemies from a (safe) distance.  For those occasions lacking a sufficiently large battlefield, SBC uses her knowledge of the magic arts to cloak herself in shadow and flanks her targets, quietly slitting the throats of the men in the back of enemy lines with her silver dagger.  Should the situation become too hostile for a lightly armored warrior such as herself, she will flee from the battlefield and live to fight another day.  After all, a dead warrior is no use to anyone.

The above two posters have really good advice.  Watch closely for enemies, they are difficult to spot until you become familiar with maps/cammo patterns.  conquest would probably be the easiest to "just play" since there is lots going on but basically a TDM with an objective of capping flags.  SDM can be fun or boring or even frustrating, just try it.

The above two posters smell

Also, as a current noob, I suggest that you play a few of the maps repeatedly if you are on your own so you can get used to them. I played a lot of the smaller maps, like Arica Harbor and Nelson Bay, quite a bit at the beginning since those were the ones I would be killed in quickly if I was clueless.

I actually enjoyed the campaign solely for the games sound...Dolby Digital is fooking awesome with Trittons on. I got into the story a bit as well because I wanted to find out about that ultimate weapon from the beginning of the game.
