What are your thoughts about boise state and them being in a national championship ? My personal opinion is that even if they win out i don't think they deserve to be in the big game. They have made the most of there opportunity thats for sure but imo you can't make your living off no name schools the unlvs the arkons and teams like that play one ranked team thats 20th or so and call that a national championship caliber year. They won against afew sec teams they beat alabama that one year in the bowl i get that but playing easy mode teams the whole year and mustering everything you have and beating one team the whole year is just unsettling to me. If they had a sec, big 12 or pac 10 schedule they would drop 2 or so games a year imo. I still think boise is a legit top 20 team but national championship team i don't think so just my thoughts what are yours?

It seems the polls keep them out of the National Championship game by never ranking them higher than third. Also I believe sanctions are pending for violations so they may be going the Ohio State route anyway.
They are a intriguing team though because the bowl game performance is solid.

I say put them in, either way that will shout someone up and this madness will all be settled. If Boise loses, it'll shut up the Boise State homers. If Boise wins, it'll shut up the Boise State haters. It's a shame Boise State's academics and market are so terrible or else they'd be in the Pac-12 right now.

They're not that good. Beating one team in an important game does not mean you're a good team. Hell, even Duke gets lucky every now and then.

It's more than luck when they do it consistently every year......rarely is there luck in football anyways unlike other sports(baseball/basketball). If a team beats a team in football 9 times out of 10 it's because they're the better team. Especially the way Boise State wins their big games. Only one I would say they got lucky in is when they beat Oklahoma a while back.

Yeah, the Oklahoma game was won with luck. They did manage to keep pace with OK, but Oklahoma hasn't been a powerhouse in decades.
Boise State's schedule is just too soft for me to consider them a national title contender.

I remember that oklahoma game. ou turned it over a bunch at the begining and where down 21-0 then ou came all the way back and went up by a td at the end then boise state busted out all the trick plays to score the td then they did another trick play on the 2 pt conversion to win lol. Oklahoma is beast this year though i expect them to do very well. They have the best receiver lineup in the country imo with broyles stills and franks. They also have a stable of running backs as usual and there defense will be better then years past.
