I don't want to clean it the drive way for sure, so i'm thinking about buying a degreaser and taking it to a do it yourself carwash and spray it on let it sit for a few minutes then hosing it off and maybe rinse and repeat i'm just wondering should i keep the engine running? is there anything i should put a plastic bag over, the pressure shouldn't be high enough to worry about wires i don't think, i have googled but its kind of nice to hear directly from someone instead of reading through forums from years ago

well in my opinion id never pour water on a hot engine. manufacturers are using aluminum on different areas of the engine these days and i feel like itd be like pouring hot water on a cold glass. i know some people say it will be okay but personally i would not.
how much poured out?
i think they also make foams too. you might be able to wipe most of it off with rags and use the foam to get the rest and use very little water

I'd say about a half quart , 90% of it to the left side alot if it fell deep into the engine so it would be really hard to get down there and scrub, good thinking on the hot engine, I was just thinking warming it up might loosen it better but now that you said that fawk doing that. I will wipe what i can and foam the rest like you said, thanks for the advise, i appreciate it
