Turbo, is it ever necessary to use humanity and become human? I never do it.  Tongue

(By the way, I'm like 2 hours past the first bell, and have done some exploring)

It's not necessary, no.  As far as I know, it just means you can summon other players to help you out and do kindling at a campfire.

And I take it you've explored the forest some?

He's actually easier than he appears.  Wink

Just take out the ice giants and get in close.  once you're on the bank of the pond, he'll try to strike you with his heads.  As long as your shield blocks 100% of physical damage, it'll be a cakewalk.

that's kinda funny, cause that's the only episode of south park i've ever watched.

for you dg, it's the one where they get addicted to some spoof of WoW, and play it non-stop for like weeks, and get all fat and acne-ish and nerdy.

Does Demon's Souls have hidden weapon and such on each stage? Like is it those type of games where you can do fine with any weapon, or one of the types where you can do fine on certain enemies but once you hit a certain enemy(ies) you need certain item(s) to go on?

You can beat the game with any weapon, but some weapon types are better suited for certain situations.  For instance, you wouldn't want to use a greatsword (has a wide, slow attack) in a narrow hallway; instead, you'd want a spear.  But, if you really wanted to use a greatsword, you could do so and still do fine, it just might be a little more difficult.

And some stages have weapons hidden in them, but that doesn't mean they'll make the stage easy-mode.  Just means you have another weapon.
