If you had their temporary password, but still keep their login info, it'll keep the games and DLC(map packs)...But you just won't be able to login to that account to get any new stuff they have. So temporary passwords are good for keeping people off your account once they have the game you're giving them. Since it signs you out of your games if someone logs in under your name without permission.
It's the same for map packs and DLC since you need their info to trick the game into thinking you bought the DLC. And something with CoD's theater mode, if you saved a map pack game and deleted the person or map packs, that saved game will give you an error saying it can't be found.
