June's Tip: STOP playing the beta now because you will just rage and not want to buy the full game. I'm leaning towards this advice. That plus the few games I played on Friday night against clans of people level 31 and higher. Already? Really? In two days you're level 31? They had the map broken down into a science and were always in position A at every choke point when defending. When attacking, they'd take one MCOM and just screw around and not even take the other one until they had 5 tickets or so. This was so they could run around and rack up as many kills as possible. Good for you. Ur awesome.

Yeah, I mistook enemies for friendlies in bc2 maybe twice a week. Here it happens at least twice a game. Thanks for the firing mode help, K. I saw the tip on the loading screen that said you can toggle, but it didn't say how. Also, I saw one that said you can create a squad in the squads menu. I tried, but it's not possible. It would be so useful trying to get back with everyone. Some more tips for shootouts: -What I usually do is fire until I feel like it's about time for me to be dead. Then, I either crouch or prone. It's a tactic you come to learn after playing call of duty. -When going down a hallway, or through rooms, slow down when turning corners and look for signs of enemies. Is there a laser running across? Is there a flashlight lighting up the entrance? Is there a gun sticking out like a dumba s s? Slow down and turn your crosshairs over there just to check. When you're turning a corner, move side to side. This way the enemy still has a moving target. Never sit still. Don't be afraid to use the SMAW! You have a guhzillion rockets for a reason. If you're tearing someone up and they run behind cover, they aren't totally lost. Fire one rocket and take them out. It's also great for clearing out the infamous paneled Hallway in the third stance. While your noob teammates are running straight down into the waiting flashlighted SVD, fire a rocket and get a squad wipe ribbon. If anyone's got the EOD bot yet: don't try to kill anyone until you've taken care of the objective. Chances are they won't know that you can do that and they'll just stare at you once you start torching their head off. I'm not having any problems finding enemies. Maybe you just aren't used to the graphics style yet?

Nice tips Jabba. What I've found helpful is when attacking, after the first Mcoms are taken and everyone goes into the hallway on the right, as soon as you enter pull out your rocket and ADS toward the end of it and spam select button for the spot. If one is there lurking in the darkness waiting for you then fire the rocket FTW! Also, the most useful tactics that I've found useful in the game is the ability to flank. (Obviously in ANY FPS that's important) Weather attaching/defending, you can flank and really be aa difference maker for your team (and pad your stats too!) One thing to remember when flanking is first, to get to a good place behind enemy lines. 2, find a good spot to hide and look down at your squad. If they're all still alive then proceed to tear up those pesky campers sitting behind cover, laying down, etc...if one of your squadmates are dead then remain hidden so that they can hub off of you and collectively you can do damage.

Thanks Oh, if you notice that all of your team is going one route (say, going up the escalators to the big room in the third stance), go another (the entrance to the right next to the paneled Hallway, or up the other escalators) and flank them.

For the last set, I exit left and usually only encounter one and take him out. Then I keep all the way to the edge of the map and jump the fense to get to the street and take out a boat load from behind them.

Hahaha, nice. Also there are a lot of unused buildings outside. The one out left right by the metro exit is useful for sniping down that stretch you're talking about, but they rarely go down it.

Exactly. I love using roads less traveled. Most knew my sneaky ninja skills in BC2 so there are no exceptions in this.

When the game just starts this is what I like to do: choose recon with PP2k, run to about 15 feet behind BOTH objectives and place the Radio Beacon. This is so my squad or myself can just constantly spawn right next to it when the game gets close to the end. In the first station I usually place it right in front of the water, behind a big tree so it's harder to spot. This has helped me save MCom stations and it's probably why I have 500+ SPM since I get the defuse right after. For attacking I do the same thing only I try my best to get behind the enemies, especially in the 2nd and 3rd base. This has helped a lot when my team is getting camped out, and I manage to slip behind to drop a beacon. It's changed the tide of battle and given me wins when I manage to pull it off. After the Beacon is placed you can just swap to your normal kits or Medic...I use the PP2k for Recon so I can still get kills and help lower their tickets. Without having to worry about when I'll die. That Prone thing really does work...as soon as someone gets 1 hit on me, I immediately hold R3 so I drop out of sight. If you're a medic you just drop and heal yourself then pop out and spam Select to find the guy firing. But I almost always change my position since most people ADS at the position you were last seen at...Moving 5-10 feet really does help.

Yeah, I've done that with the beacon a few times, but I don't usually try because I end up running into a whole squad.
When you're running around and see someone looking at you, run behind a wall and act like you didn't see them. If they shot at you a little, even better. Wait a second or two and pop out while they're reloading.
ALWAYS TURN AROUND WHEN YOU HEAR A KNIFE. If you're laying down or crouching, run then sprint in a circle. It's better to get shot in the head than to get knifed because you couldn't turn fast enough or run away fast enough.

Glitch to pi ss people off: Go prone in the crater by MCOMM A in the first area. You can swim under the map and shoot people as they try to rush and arm the MCOMM. They can't see you, but they can eventually kill you with a well-placed grenade,or a RPG blast.

You can hold your breath while sniping by holding down L3.
Squad leaders can communicate with their own squad and other squad leaders.
Always plant a mobile spawnpoint before doing anything else.
Turn your flashlight/laser off when not using it.

I wish the lights were off by default. I always have to spend 2 minutes in daylight checking to make sure mine's off. Orly? Squad leaders can talk to other squad leaders? Cause far as I can tell they can't even talk to their own teammates.

Yeah, last night I joined a friend and we were both squad leaders and could talk to each other as well as our own squad.
When you're outside, just point your gun at the ground and you can tell if you have your light on.

When I aim at the ground outside, I can't see a spot on the ground but I can sometimes see a dim light on my gun.
