I've put mine lower to help compensate for that floaty feeling...in the beta the aiming was somewhat good in the middle marker. But the middle marker in the full game is super floaty/fast. I did a quarter part and it seems to be a good enough speed without speeding past the target.

Is there no Horn on the **** Jeeps?! My favorite thing about driving jeeps in BC2 lol(That's why I'm always driving and honking the horn while driving Tongue)

A post from gfaqs that I want to try after failing miserably to fly choppers the other night...

Disclaimer: This is to help people who may not know you can change this option or who overlooked it.

If you're like me, then you've already seen tons of suicides by people flying and may have accidentally performed one yourself. On the default setting, the control of your jet is on the right stick, and the left stick controls your yaw.

Personally, I find this set up to be weird and difficult because my right thumb isn't trained to maneuver things like my character or a vehicle, so what we can do to change this is go to the options menu, and jet controls are the last 2 options at the bottom. Change the flight controls to lefty.

Now you might be thinking, "But I'm not a lefty!!!". But that's OK because it changes your flight sticks around to where your left stick controls your pitch and roll which is the way it is in all flight games (Ace Combat for instance) and your right stick controls yaw. One more thing this will do is change your gadget and your fire buttons so that R1 is fire and L1 is gadget instead of vice versa (which again is more standard since R1 is usually your fire button anyway).

This should give you more control over your aircraft and allow you to be of more help from the sky, hope this wall of text is helpful.

oh and also, i was able to play a tdm on grand bazaar and i actually kind of like it. if you just want to get in and get in a fight for a few minutes, its very good for that. it actually went by pretty damn fast.

anyone want to squad up and try that out?

I didn't like the spawn points in TDM so I only played one round.

the TDM I played a few times last night.  Well, first off, the spawn points reminded me of MoH2. I would spawn and get killed from behind, twice knifed within 2 seconds.  But as LT said, it was nice to just jump in, play and not worry about anything other than killing.

man, I almost switched to the lefty controls when I checked them out but didn't for some reason. I'm going to change it now for sure.

im starting to get used to the analogs but man they are pain to compensate for. ill be turning and put my crosshairs near an enemy and then try to zoom in but it flicks away. wtf? that's making me lose a lot of 1v1's.

I co-piloted for a random in a chopper last night and he was amazing with stingers and countering.  While he would spot jets from long range and start firing on them id finish them off when they approached.  I would spot tanks and jeeps and wed take them out together.  It reminded me of PiB's flying.

Man, kills are hard to come by. I've played now for 3hours and 17 minutes and only have 82 kills with the 870, that's .42 kpm with it, and a few other kills here and there.  I wanted to get slugs on the 870 (90kills), but it's taking forever.  After I get slugs, I may try other weapons.

Yeah kills are definitely harder to find, but I suspect that's because it's a new game. More people are playing defensively and worrying about dying than actually running out for kills. I've learned to fly the choppers pretty well, but it's still tough as hell staying ascended while you try to aim and find people on the floor.

I've died so many times because the chopper plummets really fast, even when you're holding R2. Jets are the same way only worse because it's a damn mini-gun...how am I supposed to get Heat seeking missiles if I can't kill anything with the jet? :|

So far I like all the maps except one, and it's all narrow street ways and two story windows.

Man seriously **** THIS GAME.  I am dead serious when I say that im considering taking this **** back to the store.  I may or may not say later on that its a good game or whatever, but as soon a I started BC2 I said it was a good game and stuck with it.  This piece of rhino **** makes me rage just like CoD and im not having that again.  I barely have enough free time to play as it is and im definitely not going to spend it with extra high blood pressure because I blast some ass hole with an entire clip and aI rocket only to die by 2 shots to the head by his side arm.
