get a bar with a rope attached to a weight and then hold your arms straight out and roll up the rope onto the bar and then roll it back out to lower it, keep doing this, pretty soon your upper arms will be narrower then your forearms forcing you to go crazy to workout your upper arms, eventually you will have logs as arms

Oh, and I wasn't sure where to post this, so I'll do it here.  

It's been 2 years almost to the day (give or take 1-2 weeks) since I started going to the gym faithfully...almost. Tongue

I never did an official "before/after" pic nor chart any progress, but I've managed to drop 30 pounds and tone up while gaining muscle weight in that time.  Here are a few pics I managed to locate to see how much of a difference it is.  I hardly notice with the pics but my wife said she does.

I know they aren't much, but I'm proud of myself for sticking with it and staying dedicated.  My plan now, (after renewing my gym contract at the end of the month) is to stop taking the whey isolate and start on regular whey and see how much I can bulk up because I'm not thinning down anymore.   Afro

My diet mostly consists of:

-Eggs
-Oats
-Fruits/Vegetables
-Milk
-Peanut Butter
-Chicken
-Whole Grain/Whole Wheat bread & bagels
-Whole Grain Cereal
-Greek Yogurt
-Nuts (mostly almonds)

Fish/Tuna is good. You could also buy multivitamins and fish oil (good for joints/heart). Don't need protein shakes if you get enough protein from whole foods.

Thanks Keihan! I eat sopa wevona which is instant soup. I drink two bottles of water and then eat that. But I'm getting bored of my 'diet' plan.

Mex try something simple and easy like this:
Morning-
Oatmeal (1 cup and a half)
Egg whites (1 cup and a half)

Snack-
Whey protein(2 scoops)
Chunk pineapples IN THEIR OWN JUICES. No syrup(2 cans)

Lunch-
Brown rice-1 cup and a half uncooked
Chunk tuna in water-1 cup and a hlf
You can season this with lemon pepper and seasoning salt and onion powder it'll be delicious

Snack-
Same as before but add almonds this time

Dinner-
Chicken beast
Black beans
Olive oil

Post inner snack
-cottage cheese

That and a good workout plan and you'll be jacked by next week lol

UPDATE:

Well I weighed 169 pounds exactly before I started going to LA Fitness and now after going for 3 days I now weigh 160.7 pounds! I'm going later tonight again with my brother and a nephew. We got a personal trainer tonight helping us out.

I don't measure my food, I just eat in moderation.  

Mornings (either of these):
Eggs (if you like tortilla or bread make sure its whole wheat because you digest it easier and it has less carbs)
Protein shake
Oatmeal (not the flavored bag kind because they are packed with sugar) Add chopped fruit & raisins in it.
Yogurt parfait (find a plain yogurt with the least sugar) and add fruit, rolled oats, and flax seed.  

Lunch:
Greens!!! I've read that midday is the best time to eat your leafy's.  Greens also give you natural fiber.
Huge salad with a hard boiled egg or 2 cut up and added to it with veggies.  Use vinaigrette dressing as opposed to ranch.
Tuna sandwich with diced up celery & maybe cut up hard boiled egg on whole wheat bread.
Brown rice with seaweed sheets (use them like a burrito or try and make California rolls)
Chicken breast with a red or white potatoe (not fried, baked.  No butter either.)

Dinner:
Either of the above
Also include things like fish, beans, and lentils.  

Other food items to include in your meals or just for snacks:

Fruits; Oranges, pears, bananas, apples, mangoes, pineapples, grapes, etc...
Veggies; Avocados, carrots, squash, lettuce, tomatoes, etc...
Nuts; Pistachios, cashews, almonds, etc...

STAY AWAY FROM SUGAR & AND PROCESSED FOODS AT ALL COSTS!! I know it sounds constricting, so if anything maybe treat yourself once a week but don't over do it.   Afro
