Supplements don't motivate me to work out. Results motivate me.

They're called supplements for a reason. They bridge the gap in what's missing in your diet. You don't eat fish everyday so you take fish oil. You don't get every tiny nutrient out of your food so you take a multivitamin. People like me who don't always have time to eat take protein, and people like me who don't always have the energy due to stress, lack of sleep, ect. take pre-workout powders. Results motivate everyone to work out, that's for sure, but nothing wrong with taking a supplement to give you a boost. I know I can work out without a pre and protein, but I also love the energy and endurance I get out of taking one. It's amazing to see just how strong your body really is with taking natural stuff and not juicin'.

I didn't say anything was wrong with taking supplements, but the statement was that spending money on the supplements motivates people. That's silly as ****.
You should be motivated by results, not because you bought something and feel like you have to workout or the money is wasted.

I agree with all of the above, but pre-workout powders stiumlate your nervous system, correct me if i'm wrong, and i want to stay away from that. I do take Whey Protein though, it's very basic.

protein is good in all but you can get that from natural foods granted shakes are more convenient tbh whey powders are overrated they help just slightly with muscle build they mostly help for recovery from my experience. Pre powder and creatine are what really give you the results imo you inturn can do more reps higher weight and can keep progressing less chance of a plateau effect. Its totally cool to just stick to whey though brah pre powders and creatine are kind of addicting once your off of it you can feel it

aight afew about 4 days or so on jack3d the feeling has kind of died down some but its still better then not taking anything at all. It is good for runing to i seem to run longer without being tired and i run alittle faster as well. Going to up it to 2 scoops on weight days

Red, when you move to three scoops its insane! Remember to stay hydrated and try not to over lift so you don't tear anything or mess up your back or something serious. Remember your protein intake too in powder form and foods. I know a guy that was scrawney and took protein shakes 3 times a day for a few months and blew up like Arnold.

i read your not suppose to take jack3d but 5 times or less aweek because you will eventually have to take more scoops. When you skipp days its more powerful feeling the next day apparently so ill try that

Yeah, its potent so don't over-do it. I wouldn't recommend doing more than a scoop every 24 hrs. I alsways skip a day anyway. The other days I workout without it I just drink liquid vitamins, b- vitamins, gensing, chondroitin, and omegas.

I only use Jack3d for my back/bi and chest/tri days. Leg days I'll do NO-XPLODE or another pre-workout with complex carbs to burn for energy. I also use nitric oxide pills to switch it up. They don't have caffeine in them but I use them so I don't get used to my pre-workouts as well. Yea, I can workout without taking anything at all, but this is fun too.  it would but I'd be willing to bet money on a few of those high school football players you hear about dieing during practice while its real hot out have been taking creatine and haven't been drinking enough water
This. Not enough water + excessive use of creatine = kidney failure.
