I need to get back into my workout routine myself. Sorta slacked off this past week... and the week before. Going to Nashville broke my daily routine a little bit, but up until then I had a pretty solid day-to-day thing going for 3 months.

Started nearly a year ago a month or two before I went to Portage, slacked off in Portage (was looking for a gym and didn't have the room to really do any at home workouts) and kinda over the holidays until 3 months ago.

A break is good sometimes. But it's been harder to get to sleep at night so I should probably resume that damn routine. Need to start burning that energy again.

Oddly, I can't really gain weight. Part native American.

But wait... amphetamines make it difficult to maintain an... what?Seriously? Or is it just that compound?

Good info though sir. I might need to try some of those alternatives you suggested. Haven't used anything vitamin wise yet. My routine is mostly just to burn my high energy levels and help me sleep at night.

Welcome to the club Gift! Post some pics if you got any to add to our photo album. If you haven't used anything vitamin wise yet, you may not even need it. As long as you're taking a multi-vitamin and protein, whether through diet or supplementation, you're in the green. You obviously don't need any kind of pre-workouts since your body is a fat burning machine all day. To gain weight you really just gotta up your calories/carbs/protein. Maybe you don't have time to eat 9 meals a day, which equates to every 2 hours of eating. All fat is, is just stored energy. Once your body releases it from stores, it converts it into energy. Yea you're skinny, so you're burning fat in places you didn't even know you had.  Evil

Yes, any kind of vaso constrictor MAY make you impotent. Personally I had no problem getting an e r e c t i o n while I was on JACK3D but it did make my balls cold sometimes for some odd reason. O.o

I'll add more articles and post them to the front page. We're all here to answer each other's questions. Thanks so much for the participation guys!

Wow, that's amazing info. I wonder where I'm burning all this energy naturally then. So high metabolism doesn't have anything to do with it? What's exactly a multi-vitamin?

I've experienced that. It is odd. But no problems getting a e r e c t i o n though. I take Adderall for my ADD so naturally I was like "Oh what?"

Damn those abs! I want abs like those someday. Well you're burning energy through FAT and CARBS. So if you eat a lot of fatty stuff and carby stuff, you're burning it up like a furnace apparently. AND you haven't been on a routine? I envy you sir! A multi-vitamin is a supplement that should contain all your vitamins and minerals. An effective multivitamin should have mostly the 100% Daily Value (DV) of these nutrients to prevent deficiencies. Did you know Magnesium and potassium are electrolytes? When you sweat, you deplete magnesium and potassium, which have a huge impact on nerves, hydration, even energy.

I had no idea you had ADD. O.o

More like towards your belly button ish. Guys like me gotta do 0 carbs to even attempt a 6 pack. I got about a 2 pack going but I'm taking creatine so the water retention isn't helping. I don't do a lot of ab workouts either but I find that deadlifts and squats have been tightening my stomach

I have the complete opposite. I've naturally had a 4 pack since middle school. =P  And i used to eat like a pig, i was self conscience of being underweight for a couple years going into high school, i ate as much as i could and nothing would happen.

I've never deadlifted or squated, and now that my gym membership ran out (have a gym in garage) i dont think i'll be doing them any time soon. But people tell me that those exercises work plenty of muscles.

Practically all of them with the squat. But it's a real strain on the knees. People wanna go heavy heavy heavy and then they wear out all the cartilage in their knees. I bench my body weight and maintain it. Not trying to lift the gym. Tongue You can do deadlifts pretty much with just lifting boxes. Just look at some of the forms on YT.

I lift my body weight too, i try to go for more reps than more weight. How do you work in your squats/deadlifts into your schedule? I do biceps/triceps, shoulders/back, and bench ( mainly wide grip).

If you are aiming for strength, do lower reps, higher weight. I usually squat twice a week and deadlift/hang clean once a week.


I might do Back and Front Squats on the same day, or just one of the two + lunges/Bulgarian Split Squats. With good form, you shouldn't strain your knees too bad. Never let your knees come inward. ALWAYS make sure they are above your ankle or further outward. Squat with the core/hips.

Pretty much what Kei said about form. I work squats in on leg day and deadlifts are on back day.

I had no idea you had ADD. O.o

I don't watch what I eat at all. I do avoid sugar (for acne control & the fact it doesn't mesh well with my Adderall) for the most part. So no sugary snacks like those Oatmeal Cream Pies or such. But I eat Pizza (frozen or ordered) all the time, hot pockets (not lean pockets), etc. I kinda do use a routine. I sorta improvised my own thing just to compliment my ADD and help me pay more attention. So I don't get bored you know? It's only 30 minutes a day. Maybe I should add some weights.

Pardon me here, I have absolutely no knowledge on anything like this lol. But is that like one pill or several?

Nothing wrong with a six pack. I originally thought it was weird myself for having a extra set lol

I should probably work on this a little. I did introduce a new... um... thing to my workout yesterday. In theory it should help build my lower stomach. In theory being the keyword. But it's interesting and I kinda like the burn though.

I prefer liquid because I believe you get more with less, if that makes sense.  Plus I think it absorbs better than pills.

My goals by the end of next week:

1. Deadlift 265lbs for 5 reps in final set
2. Front Squat 225lbs for 5 reps in final set (may even hit this in the next two days)
3. Flat DB Bench 75lbs each hand for 3+ reps
